Hey, Awesome. Im travelling alone too. Im 24, from Wellington, NZ. The tour will be the start of my OE, will then be baseing myself in London for 2 years after the Contiki. Can't wait. This gonna be your first time in Europe?
Yep sure is! I'm doing 2 weeks in Egypt first then I've got two weeks free after the tour to explore a bit more! What kind of bag you bringing? I've got a backpack but am thinking of changing it to one with wheels on it also?! Argh I dunno!! So whats your plans for contiki? You there to party hard? I'm not a huge drinker but love having a good time! Don't wanna spend too much money while I'm away cos I'm getting a loan. eep! haha.
Oh cool Egypt is def on my list of places to go after Contiki. Im using a suitcase with wheels, have a mini backpack that i might bring as well. I aim to do a fair bit of partying, but i get quite bad hangovers haha so i wont be drinking too much on nights where there is alot of sightseeing to be done the following day. Do you think you will do many of the optional extras?
Yeah I'm prob going to do all of them. I've budgeted them all in anyway just in case I end up doing the ones I don't think I want to! The paragliding one would be awesome but I reckon someone will have to tie me up and strap me in first! ahahah
Haha yea the paragliding is gonna be scary! but i did a bunjy jump earlier this year and it got me really excited about extreme sports so thats one of the ones im looking forward to most. Im gonna do most of them. But i'll prob give some of the dinners a miss cos I love dining out and would prefer to get a few people together and pick our own restaurant. Also i think i'll give the Nouvelle Eve cabaret show a miss and go see the Moulin Rouge show instead.
my bro's being on contiki before and said you can def get better and cheaper meals if you do your own thing. He said the Nouvelle show was really good but i'm easy. I'll happily see either!! I'm really looking forward to the trip, starting to freak a bit I leave in 12 days to go to Egypt!!! Its gonna be awesome. I look forward to meeting you
