Hey all just wondering how many are going on sept 20th european escapade.. I have seen heaps of msgs for the other tours but not many for this one!! I am counting down the days!! Im from melbourne is oz and travelling on my own! Let me know if you are coming and if you have any advice you can give me on anything!!

There are a few of us going, my boyfriend and i are both booked in for September 20th, we are from Wollongong NSW. We fly out on September 13th and then stay in the Royal National Hotel the night before. How about you, when do you fly out?

I'm flying out on the 18th Sept, arriving in London on the 19th at 5.45am! Staying at the Royal National that night! Looks like most of us are doing that which will be really good!! Are you and your b/f going just for contiki or staying on longer in london?

Hey Nikki, no we are only there for the contiki, we are in England before the tour starts. Yer it looks like its all Ozzies so far, we will all have to meet up the night before. Are you there for longer, or just the tour? We Fly back out to Australia on 16th October.

Na i'm not coming back for a while!! I'm planning on living and working over there for a while, not sure where but I'm sure i will sort it out once i'm there! Its a bit scary not knowing anyone or anything but I'm keen to take the risk and see what happens!! If i never do then i will never know!! It's coming pretty quick actually which is really good in one way but in another makes me sad to leave all my friends and family!! Some days i'm really excited and others i am scared shitless and wonder if i'm doing the right thing!!! oh well its all booked and paid for so I cant change my mind now!!!!

I'm heading off from the safety of New Zealand to do the Sep 20th contiki Also staying the night before at the hotel.

Bit bummed out by all the hassle people are having at Heathrow at the moment. Still really looking forward to the trip though and can't wait to meet everyone as I'm travelling by myself.

Hopefully we can create lot's of good memories and have a blast!!!!

Yes cant wait either 18 days till we fly out (me and my bf Levi) we are going, well im going back to my home town in England, Hull, we are staying with my family for 5-6 days then heading up to London on the 19th September and staying the night before also. We are going to have to arrange a place to meet up before we set off the following morning.

We havent got any of our travel documents yet, cant wait til we can though. Quick question what type of bags are you all taking to carry round day by day on the tour? Can anyone think of any special extras we might need to take with us?

Hey!! Rinny here from W.A. Have met a few of you before on my post; which seems a little dead atm.. coz no-one wants to chat to me! haha.. so i came here to chat instead hehe!! So for those i haven't met.. I'm Rinny (from Perth) and me n' my two mates Hay & Shell are all going on this tour!! It's just so close YAY!! We all got our Contiki tickets Last week.. So its made us feel really excited! We are leaving in 7 days to go to Cyprus for 2 weeks before the tour.. n we are staying in the royal nationl hotel the night before!.. Why dont we all have a few drinks there at the pub on the 19th?? It would be nice to meet u all!! Lois, I was thinking the same thing about the bag thing! i've bought an 'over the sholder' black bag, big enuff to fit everything in.. inc. a jacket if need be.. and i'll probably use a small school bag size back pack for everyday! i think that should be ok.. What is everyone else using??? The only thing im scared about is money..n what do get out.. keep on card, travellers cheques?? n' if we need visa's on the aussie/ british passport?? But.. hehe other than that... I cant wait!!! Well hope to chat to uz soon!!! nice to meet u if i haven't already!

I'm taking a suitcase and just a backpack for during the day.

I think we have a group get together the evening before and then it's an early start the next day (probably one of many!!)
I'm predicting I will sleep for a week when I get home.

I hope they keep the caffeine flowing in the morning,,,,I'm a kiwi I'm starting to get a bit worried seeing all these aussies doing the postings

just in answer to Rinny's question about Travellers cheqs i wouldn't bother a very big pain to cash them and then u loose more money on the commision that they take when they are cashed the best thing to take is an ATM card with a 4 digit password then you are only hit once with a conversion fee..

I am taking a Black sling handbag for use during the day/night can't be bothered with a backpack to many hassles i will have an overnight bag though just incase ..

I don't think you will need to take anything special i am definatly taking a torch and i have an alarm on my phone for those early morning starts

I can't wait this time in 21 days i will be just about ready to head to the airport to get on my flight .. we have a tour meeting the night before the tour i think it's at 7pm so we can all meet up there and go for a drink at the london Pub afterwards and get to know each other

Hey guys, less than a week before we leave, HOW EXCITING IS THAT !! We are 3 girls from Canada (well... 2 originally from Canada -Lindsay and Emily- and 1 from Colombia - me but I also live in Canada). We're going on this trip to celebrate our graduation from College UHOHOHUH . We have been waiting for this trip for months now. Can't believe it's actually gonna start soon!!!!
