I'm in for the 11 July Eastern Road tour too. Am excited about it already! Where are you both from? The 6:00am start on day one is going to be a struggle!!

I'm in too, will be doing it alone going to get to Berlin about around the 9th will have been in poland before that at the heineken open'er festival.
Will be a good start to the trip Berlin will be packed because the B-parade is on that weekend (formally known as the love parade just a bit smaller though).
Starting to get excited so should be good times

im alone on this contiki but then a friend is joining me to greece, italy, spain, france and more with busabout, and then to the uk for 3 months to work...

Hi everyone! I haven't booked the trip yet, but am thinking about it. I am going to be in Ireland and Scotland before the tour and I am trying to figure out which date would work best. I'll be traveling solo, as my friend is leaving after Scotland. How old is everyone?

I'm 28 from Newcastle Aust. I've got no other plans i leave oz on the 29th june and head to poland not sure what i'm doing after the contiki have about a week then fly home from Frankfurt so will have to think of something.
P.S. the b-parade i mentioned in other post just got cancelled!.

Hey all!

I'm 33 and originally from Nottingham, UK but am currently living on the South Coast.

I'm getting to Berlin early afternoon on the 11th and am currently considering going on from Warsaw to Gdansk and Kaliningrad after the tour finishes. I've already toured the Baltic States and this would put the finishing pieces in the Eastern European puzzle!

Hey guys i'm 26 and from Adelaide, Australia. I am getting to berlin very late on 10th (on a night flight from ibiza).

Travelling solo, but catching up with friends following this tour. Also doing other contiki tours through scandenavia and rest of Europe. Leaving home in 9 days for 13 weeks hols - can't wait.

Finishing this tour in berlin and then fly to Milan where catching up with friends before following the final stages of the Tour de France around.

I'm thinking of doing this tour as well, only I haven't finalized all my plans yet. I'm hoping to finalize them by the end of the week!

Right now, I'm thinking of flying out of Canada from July 7th with a stopover in Frankfurt. Since we have around 2 days to explore Berlin with the tour, I'm thinking I can explore the surrounding area from the 8th to the 10th or so?

Are you guys ending the tour from Warsaw or Berlin? I read on some of the other threads that the trip from Warsaw to Poland is 8 hrs long?

I dont think there's very much to do in Warsaw...I know Contiki allows you to go back to Berlin for free via bus, but it's a long way down (full day) and flights are cheap anyhow.

I'm planning on heading to Italy from Warsaw and heading along the coast up to Southern France.
