It's booked!  Eastern Road departing May 13, 2006.  Less than 6 months to go (yikes, that's a long time!).  Anyone else book this tour?

I'm booked for this tour as well for the 13th of May. I have been looking at this tour for quite a long time and kept putting it off. I've been to Europe twice before and it's been a few years since I've been there last, needless to say that I am really excited.

Just waiting for final confirmation -- but we've paid our deposit and bought our flights.  My second contiki tour, and my wife and brother-in-law are tagging along for their first trek through Europe.

Hey Everyone!
Only 94 days left until I leave....not that I'm counting or anything :)
I found out yesterday that my friend will be able to join me on this tour so I'm super excited.
We're gonna go to Paris for 4 days after the Eastern Road, then I'll be heading to Madrid for the Spanish Spree tour.
Sounds like we'll have some seasoned European travellers on this tour. Should be fun!

If anyone wants to chat about the trip, send me an email.

I just booked my airfare. I am going out of Newark, NJ arriving in Berlin early on the 14th of May. At the end of the trip I will be going to London for 3 days.

Less than three months to go! Can't wait for this vacation I haven't been to any of these places except for Vienna. Which is a great city and definetly happy to be visiting it again. I studied at Konstanz Universitaet in Germany and I am going to have to brush up on my German.

Just booked today.  Really excited.  I am going to go to
Paris first and then fly into Berlin on May 14.  I am from NJ and
go to school in NY.  I am also going solo.  Kind of a last
big trip before work starts in June.  Shoot me an e-mail:

I have the trip booked too.  First time to Europe, should be a great adventure.  I'm just waiting on my passport so they let me out of the country and back in when its all over.

24/f also going solo on my 1st Contiki tour, never been to this part of Europe either so should be an experience!  Which airport are most people arriving at?  I'll be coming into Berlin Schoenfeld but I'm guessing most people will be heading for the larger airport in Tegel?

Anyone else notice that our tour date no long shows up as available online?  I guess that means we've got a full bus.

I noticed the same thing last week. Does anybody know how many people fit on the bus? I would think somewhere around 40.

Less than two months to go. Looking forward to doing some traveling. I've been looking through my travel books and I am getting anxious to see some of the things I am reading about.

What stop(s) is everyone looking forward to visiting? I'm looking forward to Budapest and Prague.

I think there's between 45-50 people on the bus.
The next 60 days are gonna fly by. It's getting a lot harder to concentrate at work now. I keep getting caught staring at my maps or travel books.
I'm excited about every stop so far. I think mostly Berlin and Prague and I'm very interested in visiting Auschwitz. I went to Dachau last year...it's an indescribable experience.

All the stops on the tour seem like they're going to be really interesting but Berlin, Prague and Budapest are probably top of my list.  I have been to Dachau too and it is a very sobering experience but definitely something people should see.
