Looking at taking a trip in '09. Any recommendations or things to look out for on this trip? I am attending with my husband...is that rare? I always feel as those these trips are solely manufactured for the singles or couples who are dating. Someone fill me in on the 411 of the Eastern Road trip. If anything I'd liked to know what countries are less secure or safe. I will be ending in Poland, Warsaw. Does anyone know how much areoplane tickets cost (Canadian) to fly within Poland?
I just got back from the Eastern Roads trip and there were a lot of singles like myself (few that were accompanied by friends or partners)and there were about 4 or 5 married couples. I definitely would still recommend this trip because I think all the couples including the married ones had an equally fun time.
Regarding safety, I'd say Europe is Europe and tourists always just need to be aware of their belongings and carry appropriate bags/purses intended for traveling. Good luck and I know you will enjoy! I sure did!
I haven't taken the Eastern Road, but on all of my tours there have always been a couple couples, some married, some just dating. I haven't heard anyone complain that they didn't think it was a good tour for couples.
