I'm doing the Road to Athens July 5-21 then going on this tour from July 21 to Aug 3. Is anyone else doing either of these? I'm a 19 year old girl from the US traveling alone and would love to meet someone else going on one of these tours!

I'm doing the Eastern Road tour for July 21st and am getting excited. I'm also from Canada, and this will be my first trip to Central Europe so it should be a blast. Lindsey, I'm also travelling alone, but these groups always are full of really friendly people so I'm sure you won't have a problem.

I'm from Canada too, looking forward to this trip, i've read many good things! I'm going alone and heard that there isn't a Contiki shuttle from the airport to the hotel in Berlin. Depending on flight times, I wonder if there's a way to meet up and share a cab to the hotel?

Hi everyone!!! I am also on the July 21 Eastern Road tour! I'm from Toronto, Canada and will also be travelling alone. I am so happy that there are others travelling by themselves. I am super excited and think the tour will be great. My travel agent has advised that there is NOT a shuttle from the Berlin airport to the hotel so I was planning on taking a cab or the bus. There is no Contiki shuttle but there are express trains that will take you the the Zoo station. It's much cheaper than taking a cab. See you in July.

Is anyone planning on being early for their trip? I may be in Berlin a day or so early (I'm taking the train from Cologne), we could meet before the trip and get to know each other. Also, I'm sticking around Berlin for a few more days after the trip and travelling around Europe some more for the rest of August. If anyone would like to join for part of that they are welcome.
