This will be my 3rd contiki - going solo.  Will be doing tours on either side of this one.  Would be keen to know if there will be any other solo travellers departing Berlin on this date.

I am debating signing up for this- going solo, I have never done anything like this. It depends on how upset the bf is gonna be at being left behind! But i know i ahve to make a decision soon as space is very limited.

I booked my spot on Friday! Getting very excited, and overwhelmed too at getting organized (and how much i need to buy to prepare, on top of all that $$ to book! :P )
I am departing from Toronto, Ontario on July 22nd. Will anyone be taking the flight from this location provided by Contiki? Hoping to share a cab with someone from the Berlin airport to the hotel.

Not long to go now.  I actually head to Europe next week and still trying to decide what to pack.  As far as what to bring, I always take too much.  Take a good outfit for dinners (nothing too dressy though), stay away from heels  - they make it a little difficult walking on the cobbled streets (I learnt that the hard way!!).  A big must is comfortable walking shoes.

I think you should just go for it.  The first Contiki i ever did was solo 3 years ago and I had a better time than when I went over with a friend.  if you go by yourself you tend to mingle with more people.  The first couple of days are usually bit of a drag when you are first meeting people but after that you usually hang out in different cities with different people and make many more frineds.

It is getting very close I'm very excited. I'm leaving for Europe on the 16th of July to meet my brother who is travelling as well which i'm very excited about. My flight from Paris to Berlin on the 23rd means i'll be late and miss the first dinner but I guess its worth it being able to hang out with my brother.

Is everyone else getting very excited!! I'm really looking forward to meeting you all.
