It's leaving next Saturday!!! I'm curious as who are on the Aug 26-Sep 8, 2006 itinerary???

Count me in. I'm starting to get really fired up about the trip, especially since I received my tour package. I arrive in Berlin on the 27th morning from JFK.

I don't really want to lug my pack around with me all day, but I guess I'll need to. Nothing screams tourist like a big red camping pack.

You can probably check into the room once you arrive, or have concierge to hold your laugages until your check in later in the evening. That way you don't need to bring your bag around. I also posted an advise on how to get to Plaza Hotel Berlin by metro in the advise forum.

Yeah, I was planning on swinging by to check out the hotel and see if they would hold my pack. I'll definitely check out your post on how to get to the hotel.
