Carly, i can't wait to meet you! My first ever contiki Roommate was from Tasmania and she was a party, so much fun!

Just two morths to go until we all meet in Berlin, i can't wait!

Hi All - the countdown is on!!!

I'm also from Canada - Vancouver - and this is my 4th tour, 2nd with Contiki. I've been spending a lot of time backpacking (not on a tour) and I'm looking forward to having another person take the lead again - enjoy my night out without having to worry about finding the train in the morning!

Question for you guys: After the tour I'm traveling with Richard (a friend I made on a new zealand contiki tour two years ago!). We have 4 nights - any advice on how to split our time between Munich and Zurich?

Rents, what made you decide to stay in Warsaw instead of going back to Berlin? For what it's worth, a big part of the trip is always the sappy goodbyes at the end, which will probably be more in Berlin and less in Warsaw :) Just my two cents.

Explorer, we're actually arriving in Berlin from Sarajevo of all places. How random is that? :)

If you've never been to Amsterdam you should pause for a day or two there and hang out. It's a gorgeous city and there's a lot of fun to be had :)

My name is Andrea and it appears I will be joining you all for the Eastern Road tour. I'm a Canadian from outside Toronto, but currently living and working in east London as a high school teacher. This is my holiday away from all the little brats! Can't wait!

This is my second contiki tour and if its anything like my first experience it will be one to remember! Ready to experience some really summer weather cause England is just not cutting it for me and the summer heat at the moment...

Right on. I'm pretty stoked about all ya'll getting so amped this early. It's gonna be a killer trip. Monique and I are actually leaving in the morning for Europe for some pre-Contiki traveling (with some people we met on a different Contiki tour!), but we'll see everybody in Berlin for sure :)

Hi Everyone!

Have any of you figured out how to get from Tegel Airport to the Comfort Hotel? My guess so far is a bus, 3 subways, and another bus (just to get 14 km away!). I emailed the Hotel and they estimate about 15-20 for cab fare and they sent me a document - i can forward it to you (email me summerslacking@hotmail.com)

Does anyone have a plan? My flight lands at 11:30 am on the 16th.

Hey Connie (and everyone else ),

Also had to contact the hotel as could not for the life of me find a map or anything telling my how to get from the airport to the hotel. It was quite frustrating actually! I am flying in on the 14th and landing at a different airport, so that doesn't give you much good in terms of short cut ideas, sorry...but if its anything like my past experiences getting from places from the airports in Germany than its really not all that bad...then again, I could be eating my words in a days time.

Was planning on doing some wondering around the area around the hotel on saturday or trying to find a market to explore through. Fire me an email (andrea.christopher@hotmail.com) if you would like to meet up and do some exploring before we all have to check-in later in the afternoon.
