Hey All,

Just wanted to let you all know that you will have a great time on the Eastern Road tour. I went in June this year and had a blast!!! Its a really good time to be going to Eastern Europe as its still less expensive than Western Europe and a lot less busy. All the hotels are great on this tour. I'm really jealous, would love to be going again! If anyone has any questions i'de be only too happy to answer them.

Hi Lisa!  I do have a question about this trip.  Do we get any free time in the Slovak Republic on this trip or do we just drive through the country without stopping?  I really want to do this trip, but I was hoping to have some free time in this country and if we don't, I might consider the other one that allows for free time in Bratislava.  Please let me know!

Hi my name is Tom from Melb, Aust, I've just booked for this tour on 25th june with a couple of friends from melb and sydney and I think its great to hear from people that will be on the same tour.  Seems like will be a few Aussies so far!!
What are other people doing generally in their travels??  Going straight to this tour from their homes or doing other stuff beforehand?

My Eastern Road tour last year did stop for lunch in Banska Bystrica, Slovakia, but we didn't have more than an hour or so of free time. The drive from Budapest to Krakow takes you through more of the central part of the country and Bratislava is in the far east (looks like about 200 km away) on the border with Austria.

It's a great trip!

I will be in Berlin at around 4pm of Day 1, which is actually the last day of my Scandinavia tour which ends after breakfast.  So I guess I'll see some you at the meeting in the hotel at Day 1.  After the tour I have one more day in Berlin before flying to Athens.
