Hi Christine,
My boyfriend Brendan and I have booked for this trip too. Where abouts in Aus do you live? We were looking at doing the Italy tour as well but we just decided to do just the Eastern Road in the end.
Look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Emma

I'm from Tamworth, 29 and going by myself. Nice to know I'm not the only one on the trip.

Hi Christine,
We're from Melbourne. I'm sure we'll have some more people on here soon. Are you doing anything else by yourself or just the two contiki trips. We're travelling for 3 weeks before our tour then fly straight back home.

Hi Emma

I'm flying in 2 days before the tour, and spending 10 days in France after my 2nd tour.

The trip's slowly getting closer, which is great. We paid for our trip the other day so now it feels real.

Just a question. Are you getting a visa for this trip? We asked our travel agent and she said we didn't need one. But I'm not sure!?! There is another post saying you need a visa if your trip goes to Poland??

Wow!! 10 days in France would be great. Are you going down to Southern France or just doing Paris.

Have you travelled Europe before.

Great to hear you're paid up!

I'm not planning on needing any visas. Poland is part of the Schengen area, so an Aussie passport is enough. (see Polish Govt website).

I'm spending 3 days in Northern France (Somme Valley) and the rest in Paris & surrounds. I went to Europe last year as well, and loved Paris - that's why so much time!

We're doing 3 weeks of travel before hand. We're spending 7 days in London and then we head to Europe. We've got a 2 week Eurail pass and we're going to Paris, Munich, Brussells and Amsterdamm.

Mykonos would be great.

Have you done much travelling before? Are you from Oz?

Hi Emma,
Yes i'm from Tasmania. I've travelled before with my family a couple of times but this is my first going solo. Wow sounds like you've got a great trip planned! I was really keen to go back to Paris, it's absolutely beautiful! Have you travelled before? Where in Aus are you from?

Hi Kelsey,
I've been to NZ and the US, but I've never been to Europe, so I'm so excited to be finally doing it. My boyfriend hasn't travelled outside Aus, so this will be an experience for him. Paris and Germany are they places I'm really looking forward to seeing.

We're from Melbourne. Will you be flying out of Melb? When do you leave for Greece?

Emma

Hi Kels,
We miss each other by one day!!! We're flying out on the 29th August at 9.30pm. We're flying Emirates. I am 27 and Brendan will be 30 by the time of the trip.

I went to the US in 2007 and worked at a summer camp in North Carolina for 3 months. I then had 5 weeks of travel and saw a bit of Florida and Atlanta. Spent a week in NYC. Visted family in Colorado and California and then did a 10 day trek america tour of the west coast. It was pretty good. Saw some amazing things, including Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon and have some good travel stories.
Cant wait to do it all again. 5 months is still too long away.

Hey Emma, Ha that's unlucky! Wow it sounds like you had an amazing time there! I'm really keen to trade stories! Yes 5 months until the tour but at least its only 4 until we all leave. Are you guys going to Oktoberfest afterwards? I'm looking for people to go with, i'm hoping people on our tour will be keen to go. Have you met any other people going on this tour in different chat rooms? Hope you're having a good Easter break!

Kels

Hi Kels,
It's always good to log on here and see my count down slowly coming down. We would of liked to have gone to Oktoberfest but the dates dont suit us. We fly out of Warsaw the day the tour finishes and then fly back home from London the next day. We get back to Melb on the Friday night then straight back to work Monday morning. Fun Fun!! We do want to go to Munich though, so we're going before the tour.

I have spoken to a girl who is going to be in London the same time as us, but otherwise I've only spoken to you and Christine on here. I'm sure there will be more people on here the closer we get to it.

I had a great Easter, Hope you did too.
