Had an awesome time with Contiki, had started trip on 22 April 06 and finished up on 3rd May in the Whitsundays. Met some awesome people and had amazing nights out in Surfers, Fraser Island and the Whitsundays.
This was a tour that i totally recommend to everyone, but be warned. When the others leave to carry onto Cairns after the Whitsundays, it leaves ya feeling rather empty especially as as your new mates helped to make your tour so memorable

KIWI!!! I'm guessing that is you..remember me..Kerri.  I was on your tour....I must say even being left behind in Cairns while everyone else went on to finish the other tours, i also felt a bit empty, luckily Pascale, Brian, Stef, Shaun and Steve were still around for another night or two  Wasn't it just the best time ever!!  Man i'll never forget it.  I had such a blast with everyone.  Not sure about Ian though...he never spoke to me again..even though i helped "clean up" his mess after the long island and tequilas...hehehe  poor guy.  it was fun though.
glad to hear you had a great time!

Hey there Kerri, is great to hear from you and to hear that you also felt the same. Is good to see that you and the guys ended up still having a great time in Cairns. I have had Stef email me so thats cool and Hayley apparantly wants to meet up sometime as shes now in Kiwi land.
As for Ian, that still cracks me up !!
Anyway please do keep in touch, as i am hoping to try keep in touch with everyone or as close to everyone anyway!
Cheers

Hey...I was just looking at my pictures..again! hehe  There are a couple people from our tour in NZ right now.  I'm jealous!  That'd be cool if you met up with Hayley..where in NZ are you?  I've received an email from Erin, Stef, and Pascale so far.  I also hope to keep in touch with everyone, but i'm sure it will be hard.  Some people were talking about all meeting up for a reunion in Hawaii later in the year.  I'll keep you posted if we do!  Poor Ian, hope he isn't scarred forever! hehe
Hey, do you have any good pictures to send me?  I was the one who broke my camera on day two and was using disposables for the rst of the trip, well they didn't turn out all that well, so I'm trying to collect photos from everyone....send me some if you can.... kerrij@shaw.ca
Cheers!

Good times, Good times.

Let's do it again, same tour, right
now!  I bet it'd still be just as fun.

Reunion in Hawaii, now
that sounds scrumtralescent, don't know if I could see that being
overly successful. But you never know. We'd be lost without Anna
though, we'd have to organize our own activites!

A
good way to get a collection of photos would be to have a website where
everyone can just upload their pictures to one spot so we can all share
them that way. Just need someone that knows what their doing to get it
setup (ian?)

Go Oilers!

I WISH!!!  same tour and same people!  What would be a blast!  No leaving Kiwi behind this time : )

scrumtralescent...is that even a word? i looked it up..not there! hahah  Maybe we'll have to invite Anna and Youngy to join us in Hawaii!  Youngy can drive us around and Anna can plan out our days!  good thinking Jason!

Fiona was talking about doing a website for everyone to put their pictures up... i think it is a great idea!  in the mean time, send me pics too Jason if you can.

Aaaahhh, i miss Australia and everyone......

The Hawaii idea sounds pretty cool too, though will see what eventuates. Yip being back home and at work sure made me appreciate meeting all you guys and touring that much more better!!

Hi Andrea! Of course I remember! How was Ayers Rock?  I heard it is very beautiful out there.  I'm still missing Australia.  My friend at work just quit and is moving to Australia for a year...now next time I'll have someone to go visit!
Hopefully we can all meet up again for a reunion...I'm sure it would be just as fun as our trip!
Talk to you guys soon!

Hey Guys,

I was on the Beaches & Reefs Tour that left from Carins down to Sydney.
Yes i am a Kiwi too. I also had Anna as our tour leader she was good we spent one afternoon at long Island tubing. i did it with Anna our bus driver Scotty (an ex Kiwi) and a guy from the US we had a blast trying to get Anna off the tube but she was so damm tiny she stayed in the tube. we too had some aswome nights at the pool side bar at Long island.

I totally understand when you say how empty you feel when the tour finishes it sucks huh.

but i got alot of good memories.we have a web site with photos that everyone from tour is sharing. its a great idea.

what was your day song? ours was "Love Generation".
I think we picked your bus driver up in Brisbane on our way through and took him to Sydney with us. he was a real laugh at Melbas in Surfers.
i think that was him?

Any way heres to great Contiki tours CHEERS!!

Chao

Our daysong was "Oh Yeah!" from No More Fashion.

First I hate it, but at least I've bought the album in Sydney Wink and now it's a part of my memory.

Ayers Rock and the Center of Australia werde awsome. It's my favourite part of Australia. Ayers Rock seems so small, but if you are standing right in front, it's an overwhelming impression, you can't describe. It's much bigger. No, I did not climbe it. If you got another chance to visit Australia, go to the red center, you won't regret it!
