Just wondering if anyone is going on the Territory & Outback 11 day tour starting in Alice Springs on the 5th June and ending in Darwin.

If you have done this trip before how was it? Did you enjoy it?

Thankyou

I just got back from this trip and had a blast!!! Make sure you do as many optional extras as possible. If you have the chance pre tour, why not talk to some of your fellow travellers and suggest you go to the Sounds of Starlight didgeridoo performance in the Todd Mall at Alice. Or maybe suggest to your travel guide that your whole group takes it in on the first night.

Have a really good time in the Territory.

I'm hoping to take the Alice Springs/Darwin trip on June 5th, too.  I'm a student in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA and I'd like to take a trip over to Australia after graduation.  I'll post again once I've confirmed my reservations.

Hi everyone,
I did this trip in July 2007. It was by far the best trip I have ever done. It was so much fun. Everywhere we went was fantastic. Sleeping under the stars was def the highlight for me. I would recommend this trip to anyone. It’s awesome. The options are all fantastic. I did a European contiki too and I liked this one so much better.
If you want anymore tips/advice feel free to email me at sarahalpin83@hotmail.com

Have fun guys

Did this trip in July 2008 - absolutley amazing. Being Australian, I was the odd one out, and now realise why people come all the way Down Under to see this country... its is amazing. Some places are pretty dodgy (Katherine and Tenant Creek come to mind)... but it adds to the experience and I wouldnt have changed any of it... the best night we had was in the Tenant Creek pub dancing on the bar in matching truckers singlets!!! Definatley go... you wont regret it!!

I'm glad to hear that Aussies have done this trip and they too have enjoyed it!

I'm and Aussie and have just done a Contiki in Europe, which was an absolute blast! Sounds like this trip will be awesome as well!

we had about 10 aussies do this trip and they said not many aussies actually get to see that area as many live on the coast which is more accessible to them as an every year vacation thing.
