Anyone else going on this trip by any chance? - I am doing the Beaches and Reefs trip from Sydney to Whitsunday's leaving Sydney on 22nd Feb 2008.

Even if no-one else on this trip on here - Anyonce got any good reviews of the trip so I can get a sense of what to expect?

If you're not hardcore into sailing only do the day sail in the whitsundays.

If possible, use waterproof luggage.

Bring a good bug spray for fraser island.

Buy a lonely planet guide. Reference in each city -- there might be a better/cheaper alternative than that provided on the tour. Contiki offers heeps of great optionals, but don't tell you about the free things you can do. (like taking a local bus to a deserted towny beach).

It's a good tour.

I am going on the same trip as you leaving feb 22 but mine ends in cairns. I'm soo excited! I'm also doing a Contiki tour in January in New Zealand
