I'm currently at uni in Southampton but my mates and I are originally from Essex. Were doing the beach part as budget wouldn't stretch to that - looks good though. Just been looking at the places were staying in they look pretty damn good

Myself and my two mates are also getting to the Cairns Colonial Club on the 3rd. I heard that Contiki organise a meeting the night before so we will probably see you all at that. Not long to go now!

also whats everyone taking for baggage? Are people taking backpacks or suitcases?

Wow sounds like a posh suitcase! Mine is just about within the size limit but we are in Oz for just over a month in all. Yeah we're staying in Sydney for about five more nights once the trip ends, haven't arranged anything yet though - u thinking of doing the same?

that would be mad if we're all on the same flight! could be sitting next to you and never have known! we're stopping off in singapore first for 4days then flying from there, get onto cairns about 8am i think, what about you? going anywhere before? we're staying in a hostel called wake up sydney central, i'll find the link and stick it on here, seems pretty good
