Hey Tam

My name is Bec, and I will be on the same tour as yourself. I leave for the UK on the 25th of September. I can't wait. The only thing is I hope I have enough money for the length of stay.

Bec

Hey girls
Im hearing you about the whole money thing...totally stressing that I won't have enough. Although I think I would probably do that even if I had heaps. Have you guys booked any tours yet for whilst in London. I have been looking at a few different ones but so hard to decide which ones to do. Thinking of taking a day trip to bath, stonehedge and windsor but not sure yet???
Only 2 weeks today till I set off....aaaaahhhhhhhh!!!

Hey Tammy and Everyone

I'm booked to go to bath and stonehedge the day after the tour, it's a full day 10 hours. I booked it through flight centre, I can't wait. I finally picked up my documents yesterday and finalised additional accommodation after the tour back at the royal national and day trips before and after the tour, so i'm not as worried now about money. I'm also going to get a pasport for GBP from travelex, so I don't have to worry about keeping money aside for when we return from the tour. The count down has begun.

Bec

The Travelex passport works by converting all aussie dollars you want for the UK leg of your trip in our case and converts it to GBP before you leave Australia. You then use this card like a debit card, but all conversion has been done before you withdraw the cash, the only fee is a cash withdrawal not a conversion as you have already paid that when you converted your money back at home.

It makes sence to me to keep my money separate so I don't over spend in Europe and leave myself short whilst in the UK. I won't have to worry about trying to work out the difference of how much something will cost me because i'll have this card. I only have 10 working days left till I go on holidays.

Hey girls
I have only 3 working days left until I jet off....I can't believe it. So much planning and it is finally here. My mum has recently been over to Europe and Italy and took a travelex card (as did her friends). They advised me not to take one as they had some trouble accessing it from some places over there. They found that cards and travellers cheques worked better.
As for the Moulin Rouge...I am so keen to see it as well. I was also wondering how strict they were with extras and why that wasn't offered...do you think maybe its not on the nites we are in Paris.
