Hi Everyone! My hubby and I and booked on this tour to leave London 13 Feb 2010. I know its a long way away but we're so excited! We're from Australia and will be 24 and 22 when the tour starts. Is anyone else booked on this date?

Yep. We are staying 3 nights in London after an then hiring a car and going to drive around Scotland by ourselves for 4 days then dropping the car back at Aberdeen and flying from there back to London then on to Oz. How about you?
That sounds awesome. I didnt think about hiring a car We are in London for 9 days before the trip and we are finishing the tour in Amsterdam and staying there for another 5 nights.
I love London, i wish we could stay for longer but work won't give us too much time off which sucks.
I'm guessing by the way you said I love London that you have been there before? Yeah, the work thing sucks! That's the same as us, could only get 5 weeks off. Hiring a car is so cheap over there! For 4 days in a mercedes is only AU$500! Plus they don't have the stupid restrictions for under 25s as there is in Aus. What are you planning to do in London before & Amsterdam after? Have you done any other contiki trips before?
Yeah, i went over to London in 2007 and also did a 4 week contiki tour of Europe by myself so it will be good now to have the boyfriend with me. Wow! we shouldve got a car lol.. i'll keep it in mind for next time for sure! We have tiks to a premier league game in London so we are spending some time in Liverpool too. Lots of shopping to be done also! I loved Amsterdam, so much to do and such a crazy place. We dont mind a good drink and a good dance and amsterdam is the perfect place for that I've just done the one Contiki and it was great. you meet so many people and i love that its all organised, its worry free! How bout urself? Have you done much traveling?
