Hey Chloe,

Thanks for your reply. Yes I will be a first timer aswell, that's why I am a little unsure of the possibility of going alone.

The tour depart 6th Sept was what I was thinking about, as I too want to be in Munich for Oktoberfest.

I am getting excited just thinking about it...I think I should probably book and hope my friend can get in later, lol!!

hey,

my girlfriend and i book as soon as we could so we dont have to pay for it in one big lump sum , and getting in to get the early bird flights now you will get a betta price.

kerry and i are a bit nervous aswell cos it is both a first for us, so now it seems alot more real cos we have half paid for the it

if your gf comes it will be great but from what i have been told we will meet heaps of people anyway

its only 10 months and 6 days till we fligh out of perth, you cant tell that we are counting down

when are you flighing into london, and where are you staying

Hey,

Yep I like to be organised aswell, and if it came down to it I would neva save up the entire amount, coz if the money is in my account I will spend it!!

I have spoken to plenty of people that have gone on their own, and had awesome times, but still the comfort of travelling with someone you already know would be nice. But I really think I will go even if my mate can't.

As for London, I have not made any plans yet. What are yours, where will you be staying??

hey kel taylor

my girlfriend and i decided to do the vista in september as it is a guaranteed departure, and we will be in munich for oktoberfest, the other reason being is that we decide that if we are going to spend all that money to go to europe, we may as well pay a bit extra and stay in nice accomodation. anway i did may figures with all the different kind of tours timeout, concept and camping, and this tour still worked out be the best, but i guess it is just choice.

it is a small world this website has been the best thing, being able to talk to other people who are thinking or doing the same tour it is great, exmouth is a great spot, nice beaches and great fishing.

anyway let me know

Hello there,

Also, my apologies for interrupting the conversation. I'm another of these people just finding out about these message boards to meet people who will be touring the same time as me! My cousin and I are both booked for the Vista tour on 6 Sept, for basically the same reasons as Chloe (guaranteed departure and Oktoberfest). We'll also be first time overseas tourists, and decided a contiki tour would be the best way to do it. I would love to hear from who's touring, get to chat to fellow tourists before the tour starts. My email is bmoule85@hotmail.com.

Cheers
Mouley

Hey Chloe,

I'm a first time overseas traveller, as well as my cousin, who i am travelling with. We've booked to arrive in London on 3 September, check out a few of the sights. Post tour, we're spending another week in London, but haven't really decided on what we're doing in that time yet. Options are open! Have you and your friend got any plans after the tour?

Hey Everyone,

Please there is no need to apologies I posted to hear from all. It's great to be able to get to know others on your tour before hand!!

I have unfortunately had to cancel my Contiki experience (family issues), so I am no longer going on 6th September 2007.

If it's not too much, perhaps when you get back you could give me some feedback on this tours. I would love to hear all about the trip.

I hope you all have a wonderful tour, not too long to go now Smiler

I'm sure we can fill you in on how the tour is, give you all the details. Hope everything is sorted out with your family.

Hey Chloe,

In regards to after the tour, we've got no real plans at this stage. Probably check out any sights we didn't get to before the Tour starts, I don't really know. I'm sure my cousin and I will be talking about that in the coming months though.

Before the Tour though, it would be nice to meet you and your friend and put a face to the name and email address for yourself. Drinks sound good?
