Hello, Is anyone planning on doing the Vista tour in September 2009? I will be traveling alone. I'm 25 from Australia and this will be my first time overeas. Any advice for a first time traveller?
Hey, My best friend and I have just booked European Vista departing on 12th Sept. This will be my first os trip since I was a child and her first trip os ever. We're both 25 and from Australia. When are you departing?

I'm looking at the Vista departing 12th September as well. Just waiting on my colleagues to let me know when they want their holidays as they may be looking around the same time as me.
If all goes to plan, that will be the trip I'm going on, which means I will be Contiki-ing on my 26th birthday!
This will be my second time overseas and my second Contiki.

Now I'm really gonna put my case up and demand I get that date!
If it does work out, I'll be leaving Australia on the 9th and having an Asia stopover, haven't decided where yet, and after the tour I'm spending a week in London and heading for New York for a week after that.
This is my first time in Europe so it will be an experience for all of us I think!

Glad to see there's a few other early birds. We're leaving Adelaide on the 8th Sept and heading straight to London for a few days site seeing before the tour. Then leaving London the day after for Hungary, with a final stop over in Kalaua Lumpar on the way home. I'm pumped already but as it's so far away i'm not starting the countdown until 1st Jan. Watched Kenny's World trip on tv the other night and he was at Oktoberfest, can't believe i'm actually gonna be there.

Well, I've officially booked in - now just hoping to god that one of my colleagues won't take the same time!
I'm leaving on the 9th, then heading to Bangkok for 2 nights, will be in London at 7am the day before the tour, then spending 5 days in London after the tour (possibly staying with a friend there) and then jetting off to New York for a week and heading home. It's gonna be sooo good. I'll be in Europe for my birthday and going to Oktoberfest! It doesn't feel real, and, like you Yvie, I'm not gonna start any countdowns until January! :P

Hey all, me and my BF have just booked on the Sept 12th trip as well. Both 24yo aussies (or will be 24 in 09). So pumped! Anyone planning on doing a fair bit of travelling after the tour???
Hi All, My BF & I (24 * 26) have booked this tour also. Leaving Aus around the 8th Sept. We plan on spending a month in Ireland after the tour finishes!
def looking at going on the Vista, departing 12th Sept!! Im from Aus, I'll be 19, and will be travelling alone, after working at the USA summer camps for a few months. I have travelled over seas 3 times before now.
It's great to see so many people already on this trip! I pay off the tour part at the end of the month (the price goes up February 1st) and I'll deal with the flights and stuff later.
I've started my countdown, and getting a wee bit excited!

My boyfriend and i are also booked on the 12th September Vista tour this year. We are both from Qld Australia aged 25 and 28. We're arriving in London on the 6th and plan to have a look around the UK before the tour starts. This will be our second overseas trip but our first contiki experience. We're both super excited but i'm getting a little nervous already! Can't Wait!
