Good to hear from you...Julia, if is this your first tour abroad, this is the perfect way to do it...usually a good group to tour with and you have the safety and security in numbers.

I am flying out of Calgary on the evening of the 9th to be in London early afternoon on the 10th.  Then we ship out the next morning for three weeks!

We'll have to meet up sometime on the 10th for sure?  Anybody been to the Imperial Hotel before?

I can't answer the adapter thing in full at the moment...I do know that you have to have some sort of adapter as Europe does run on a different voltage for electrical things and different frequency for cell phones.  Maybe that's changed since I was over there last.

I went on a Contiki tour five years ago this month (five years ago today we shipped out for Scandinavia), went through Scandinavia and Russia for 33 days.  Had a blast and am now finally getting back over to Europe for another tour.  Lots have happened since the last trip so I am really looking forward to getting away for a few weeks.

I just signed up for the Euro Vista on July 9th.  It sure is coming up quick!  Looks like our timing could be great, the 9th is the finals of the world cup.  I'm not to into soccer, but it's gonig to get wild in London- esp if england does well!  We should meet up for the game that night some where.

I'll be coming from california and am going by myself, but I look forward to meeting all of you.

Yes it would be awesome if a group of us could meet up that nite before we ship out...get a bit of London nite life before hitting the Continent.

Julia, I just read your email about staying at the King's Cross Hostel...I stayed there a couple of nites before heading back last time I was over there...it's nice and clean and they have great breakfasts in the morning!  You will meet some interesting people there as well.

Yeah i received my travel pouch with the itinerary and booklet about 3 weeks ago? maybe you should check with contiki...

i booked through a travel agent so i got it from her.
