My names Renae and i'm a 26yo single aussie gal from Perth western australia.

I'm embarking on a solo round-the world trip in september and I've got the european vista trip circled for the 20th september, and then i'm off to the U.S. for Best of USA tour on october 19th. hopefully everythng will be booked within the week. *fingers crossed*

this is my first time doing real travelling overseas. Been to bali before but i dun think that'd count!)

so yeah I thought i might just put myself out there and say hi. Just wondering if anyone else online is going on this trip? I'd love to find out more about you if you are.

Well... long story short... I had my trip booked and fully paid for over 3 months ago, HOWEVER my travel agent and contiki didn't!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just Wednesday been, they took me that there had been a problem with communication and we weren't booked on our trip. Whatsmore, it's completely booked out! So we're currently negotiating another trip with them.

And there are heaps of people on this trip because they have to check with Contiki London if there's available places because there's so few places left!

hey guys! WOW so it seems theres gonna be lots of people on this tour then.. so why the hell are they being so rude as to not jump on the forums n say hi? lol :-P

i'm eager to get to know as many people as possible before the tour starts so its not so daunting when we all finally meet in person haha

Ok so I've contacted the Contiki basement in London and this tour actually has 17 people paid at this point - so I'm not sure where my travel agent is getting his figures from! But the guy I'm speaking too says it will be full by September so not to worry!

But I'm definitely calling my travel agent and asking him "what the..??"

would actually be quite nice if the group wasn't too full. small and intimate would prob be more fun. get a lil family happening lol.

Hey! Yep, I want to go to the Moulin Rouge not the Nouvelle Eve. But I don't think we'll do dinner with the Moulin Rouge - would prefer to find something local and probably a lot cheaper!.... but that's if I get to go on this tour!

Just quickly on the tour stuff up thing - think it was actually Contiki. One of the other girls on the tour I was supposed to be on just got told that she hasn't been booked on it either!! And she's from NZ and completely separate to us. But doesn't matter now... I'm heaps excited to be going on the Vista with you guys!!!
