Hi All,

My name is Katy and I will be travelling on the Euro Visa starting on 26th May 2006 with my friend Maria !

Maria & myself are both from Sydney, we will be 26 by the time the tour starts (our birthdays are a week or two before the tour - so we will all have to have heaps of drinks to celebrate.... ha,ha...any excuse to party !!)

Basically we will be spending 1 night in London prior to the tour starting (arriving early morning). Contiki Tour for 21 days then a flight from London to Athens then catch a ferry to Mykonos where we will be staying for 4 nights to relax & party some more !

Unfortunatley, my travel buddy Maria will return to Sydney from Athens...and I then head to Madrid Spain to attend my uncle's wedding and 3 weeks or so of MORE holidays & meet up with my parents who will also be in Spain for the wedding..return flight....stop at singapore for 2 nights to break up the long flight..some sightseeing...shopping (i love shopping! ha,ha) then back on a plane to Darwin, Australia for 5 days - which I have no interest in going... but hey...its FREE...my parents have offered to pay for that part - so I can't exactly say no..can i ?!?!

So in total I will be travelling for about 9-10 weeks !!! I cant wait...especially for the Contiki experience !

I just hope that we get a great bunch of people in our group that LOVE to party hard & drink heaps !

If anyone out there is thinking of booking on this date OR has already booked...we'd love to hear from you :-)

My name is Joe and I am goin on the Euro Vista tour that starts on May 26th unfortunately I am going by myself! I don't know anyone else going on the same trip but you both sound like you know how to have fun! I am actually arriving in london on the 22nd and staying with a family friend and I plan on checking out the sights and doing a lil partying before the tour starts. So if your around London early let me know, I could use some partners in crime! lol

I am from a suburb just outside of Chicago and I'm 22. This trip is my last shot to see Europe while I'm young and before I start working and get old!! haha So message me back some time and let me know whats up......I look forward to having a kick ass trip!

Its great to hear from someone that is own our Tour !! - I was starting to think that we would be the only two !! ha,ha

Our plans have changed slightly to my last post.  We are now spending 2 nights instead of 1 in London prior to the tour - we arrive on the 24th of May. We will be seeing the sights of London and getting over Jetlag (its taking 23 ours in total to get to London). 

Partners in crime !! ha,ha,ha..... you've come to the right place....that's us for sure !! 

We are meeting up with Bec from Sydney (who we meet on the Message Boards) in London on the 25th of May for dinner/drinks...unfortunately she is on the Euro Vista starting 2 days after us.

Have you been to Europe before ??  I've been 5 times before...this will be number 6 for me...but never done Contiki before. I have relatives in Spain and always go there...free accommodation etc...but in 2004 I did a France & Italy tour which was so much fun and the countrys are absolutely beautiful - the hangover's werent too good...thank godness for the bus where you can sleep a few hours before arriving at the next destination ! ha,ha

My names Luke and I?ll be going solo on this tour . This is my first trip overseas and I want to see as much as I can in as little time as I have because of work.



I?m 21 yrs old and from the Blue Mountains in Sydney Australia and I?m also doing the Great Britain and Southern Island tour ?I?ll be on the same tour as Bec for this one?.



I?m hoping that I can maintain hard partying & drinkin for the entire trip, probably goin to be a big sleep on flight home until the week following.



I booked this tour last year and time seems to have flown since then - I can?t wait!!

Just over 130 days to go !!! Can you tell im excited ??!?!  ha,ha

Looks like were getting a nice little group going !! Bec sounds really nice...I've chatted with her in emails !! i'm sure you guys will have heaps of fun on the Great Britain & Southern Island Tour....its a shame Bec isnt on our Euro Vista Tour also :-(

You are going to have soooooooo much fun !!! Europe is the best  - that's why I keep going back !!  I was actually going to stay in Spain after this Contiki Tour and live there for 9-12 months !! - but... this whole trip is costing a little more than I expected..so I will be coming back to Australia beggining of August 2006...find myself a great job/make some money and possibly live in Spain in 2007 !

Dont party too hard on your 1st Contiki Tour....we want you active & ready to party on the Vista too !!!!

Its always been a dream of mine to travel to Europe and now that we are doing it... i'm speachless...no words can describe this fantastic feeling.

Hope we can get together for drinkies the night before (just to warm up ha ha ha ha) before the tour starts.

In answer to your question - Myself & Maria are travelling to Mykonos after the tour for 6 nights (15th June-21st June). We are ending the tour in Amsterdam & catching a flight direct to Mykonos (instead of getting on the bus to drive to London).  After that, we are heading to Athens for 3 nights (21st June -23rd June).

You should come to Mykonos !!!! - Apparently its awesome there !!!

Hey Cindy,

Katy and i are arriving in London on the 24th of May too, and early in the morning. Were heading to the Royal National Hotel (hotel were the tour starts) and dumping our luggage at the basement till check in which i think is at 2pm, but our tour technically starts on the 26th of May too..... yeahhhhhhhhh woooooo hooooooo.
We decided to arrive 2 days prior to the tours' departure date (26.05.06) to avoid any flight delays or cancellations.

What are you doing after the tour ends in London????

Hey Maria ~

My roommate, Kelly, and I leave the States on the 24th and arrive in London (Gatwick) May 25th at 11:00am.  I'm not sure which hotel we are staying in that night.....our itinerary just says we are confirmed in the Contiki hotel for the night of the 25th.  So hopefully we'll have most of the afternoon on the 25th to get out and explore some.  Do you guys have any particular plans for that day?

As for after the tour, we are flying back to the states on June 15th    Unfortunatly, 3 1/2 weeks was all the time I could get off work.  Where are y'all headed afterwards?

Hey Cindy....Katy here...Maria's friend !

We leave Australia the 23rd of May and spend 2 nights at the Contiki Royal National Hotel in London. On the 24th we land in London at 5.50am so we are planning on heading to the Contiki Basement & leaving our bags there for a small fee (check in at hotel isnt until 2pm). Probably catch some breakfast somewhere and then we are then going to do some sightseeing....we are thinking of doing the hop on hop off bus and also tickets to go on the London Eye.
The 25th is just going to be an easy day...maybe a bit of shopping, more sighseeing and then be back at the Contiki Basement in tour for the pre-tour meeting (i think its at 6.30pm)....then we are meeting up with a few other from our tour for some dinner/drinks..... you girls in ???

Its a shame you're not staying longer after the tour - but i guess you have to go back to work !

Maria and I are off to Mykonos (6 nights) and then Athens (2 Nights)...

Only 10 weeks to go !!!!!!!!!!!!!

How are things?

Where did you hear about the pre-tour meeting? I am keen to catch up for dinner the night before the tour.......

How much money are people expecting to spend per day? I was budgeting around $200 per day, but Im unsure.

Does anyone know if much drinking is done on the bus itself or is it disallowed?
