I'm Brett from Australia. Nice to hear from you. Your the first person I've seen thats going on the Vista tour which departs on June 13. I was starting to think it could be an empty bus. Whereabouts are you from?

I leave Australia on 1 May to go to Canada and America for 1 month doing my own touring. I arrive in England on 27 May and will be in London until the 8th June. Im going to the Download Festival at Donnington from 8-12 June and then back to London to stay in the contiki hotel the night before the tour starts. This will be my first time in Europe and first contiki tour, only a month a half till i leave. woo hoo!!

I will be doing three other contiki tours, Scotland, Egypt and Spanish Spree with plenty of my own touring in between. After the Vista, Im heading to Dublin for a few days then Scotland for the 2nd tour and after that will be touring around England for 20 days in a hire car. All up I'll be away for 5 months, due back home on 4 October.

Have you got any other travel plans before and after the Vista tour?

Hello again Nat

Great to hear from you. I'm in Canberra and we just had a long weekend, hence the couple of days for me to reply. I'm a little bit embarrassed to say my age, as I will be the grandpa of the tour at 34!!,  just fit in the 18-35 yo bracket. I was due to go last year but had to cancel my trip due to injury and has taken awhile to save the cash when buying a house.

I'm looking forward to all the partying and fun, but my recovery the next day hasnt been the greatest lately. Hopefully I will get plenty of practice in before the tour starts, especially when I've got three other tours to do after the Vista. 

I know what you mean about solo travelling being daunting, I am very excited about going but also a little bit nervy too. We should meet lots of new friends and it will be great fun anyway. It also great to just do your own thing. 

I havent seen anyone else on here for the same tour either, hopefully some more might appear soon or we will just meet the rest when the tour starts. 

Greek Island hopping sounds great, I think you'll be doing plenty of partying on that tour. I'm spending 3 nights in Mykonos in late september before a 3 day singapore stopover then home. After the tour finishes, I will spend a night in London before heading to Dublin for three days then to Edinburgh, so might see you in Dublin also.

I've only got 22 more work days before I leave to my first stop of Canada!!

So glad im not the only one doing this date. Its the only good one (and the 15th) that fit into my schedule. I really really hope they don't cancel it due to numbers or something...

Yeah not long to go now til i leave, only 12 days left and just 5 of them are work days, but whose counting .  I'm still waiting to get all my documents from Contiki, they better arrive soon!! Still about a month and a half til the Vista starts, am really excited about it and whole trip. If dont chat to you before then, look forward to meeting you on tour.

I will also be on the European Vista tour leaving London on the 13th. I am 21 from New Jersey in the US. Good to see that some others will be travelling alone because I will be too and was really nervous about it but looks like we will have an awesome time...can't wait to meet you all
