My boyfriend and I will also be going on this tour! We were booked for the November 14 Vista but are changing to the Nov 7th one as it is a definent departure.

I was getting a bit worried that I'd be the only one going on tour for this particular departure date! When I booked it wasn't a definite departure, so I'm glad to see that it's going ahead - YAY! I can start making pre-tour plans now - I'll be leaving Australia on Oct 21.

I'm 26 (old, I know!) from a small town west of Brisbane, QLD. What about you?

26 is not old at all!!!!!

I am so happy this tour is going ahead...my travel agent told me that the bus is already half full.

We are from Newcastle NSW and fly out on 31st of October so have just the one week in London before the tour. We're thinking of hiring a car or catching a train to Wales for a day or to....but im sure there will be plenty of things to keep us busy in London.

I cannot wait for November!! I count down everyday and its all i think about lol.

Uh..I'll be 27 during the tour though. Amazing how one year can make you sound so much older! Hehe.

I'm so excited about the tour!! At the moment the plan is to do a self-drive tour of Scotland and Ireland the two weeks before Contiki (sadly not enough time in London) - I can't wait!! I'm definitely counting down, too. I need a holiday from work, for sure.

Have added you on Facebook (Mary Williams). It would definitely be nice to get to know some of the people before the tour, too, especially cos I'm going by myself - a bit nervous, but I'm sure I'll get over it.

You have nothing to be nervous about - we're going to have such an awesome time. I think it also helps to get to know people before you leave so there will at least be some familiar faces. Feel free to add me to face book - my details are in the post above.

I will be arriving in london literally the day before the trip :S umm...im thinking of staying in the Hotel Russell...oh and a relative of mine is going to hang with me a bit that day, youre welcome to join us. She is a londoner, along with most of my family and she's gunna pick me up on her way home from uni and take a stroll round london with me - even though i'll be sleepwalking from the jetlag :S *shrugs* oh well.
As for after the trip...i dunno...ive not thought that far ahead. I guess im going to catch the rail to my grandma's and live there for a while. Im sort of a nomad at the moment. I cant stop exploring and doing crazy stuff and dred the thought of having to go to uni sooner or later. What about you?

Hi Kath! It's so good to see that there are more people on this tour - YAY!

I'll be doing it solo as well, am both excited and wary, but I'm sure it'll be fine. You're lucky to have people to stay with - saving for accommodation is no fun when all you want to save for is spending money.

My name is Jasmine (everyone just calls me Jas) & I'm also going on the 7th November Winter Vista tour.

I'm 29 years old (but don't act it!) and I'll be travelling alone - glad to hear I'm not the only one!

This is my first time overseas, so I'm a bit nervous, but certainly very excited!!!
