I am looking at doing the Encounter or Discovery departing the first week of September. Anyone signed up for those yet or have any suggestions before I book??

I choose to do the Encounter trip! I am on the trip that departs on Sept 3...the one just before yours on the 6th I believe. I choose the earlier one because I want to make sure it is done in time to go to Oktoberfest on the 19th!! Anyone else doing Oktoberfest?

im still going to oktoberfest on the 22 and 23rd sep there will be heaps of time isnt the 3rd sep not a guaranteed date of departure tho?? thats y i chose the 6th sep

You are right, the 3rd it is not a definite departure yet, but the other dates around it are full or definite, so I figured that due to this tour's popularity around this time, it will be highly likely that it will go. The staff at Contiki said it will probably be a go too.
