hey people of contiki,

I am an aussie guy planning to go on the European Encounter tour in september October sometime and wanted some opinion on what the tour is like.

I am also planning to travel alone so wanting to know if anyone was planning on going around that time

Did this tour in Feb 2000 and it was a brilliant tour. Goes to some great places, you get to see all the main sights on europe and you get some great free time. We even caught the TGV from Lyon to Paris to give us an extra full day in Paris and used it to go to Disneyland. Amsterdam was great and going there first sure does break the ice with the group. What you see of Italy is also really good. I have done 5 other tours besides this and the last was LA to the Bay in August last year so Contiki are all great.
