Hi guys, sorry i didnt get back to you earlier, but ive had problems with my email.  We are 25 and 30, and we live in Perth.  This is my 4th trip to europe, my second europe contiki, i went in 2000 and did the europe discovery for about 15 days.  This trip will be out honeymoon, as we get married on the 22nd April.  We depart perth on the 17th May and arrive in london on the 18th and depart for  the tour on the 19th.  Zac's mum lives in germany, berlin, shes coming over for the wedding, so we arent going to germany to see her when she will be spending 5 weeks in australia, and it saves us about $1000 in airfares that we dont have to pay to get from croatia to her.

Is this your first time and where do you guys live in australia??

Hey, good to hear there will be some more people on the bus, the soccer will be awesome, we hope you guys have a great time, we were trying to get into europe earlier, but it was impossible with work.  Amsterdam is awesome, i did a tour a few years ago, and everyone loved it there.
Where abouts are you guys in australia?? and how old are you all.

Yep well i dont know if we will win the soccer but jus to watch Brazil will be an experience and the atmosphere... even though we wont be staying there long as i expect accomodation, food, etc in germany during the world cup will be doubled. 3 of us are in adelaide, im 28 along with my mate and his bro is 21. we are going to meet the bus in amsterdam and then travel through. when the bus leaves paris for london though well be stayin in paris for an extra day as my mate wants to see eurodisney and then catch a plane into spain. i dont want to go all the way to europe without seeing spain. so much more to see i guess but not enough dosh.

should be good!!!!! the more people the better.  im sure there will be quite a few... just some dont know about this msg board

Your absolutely right, so may people dont know that this msg board exists.  I told a friend of mine about it last year when she was going to NZ, and there was another girl going from perth, so they met up before hand.  We should get a few more people hopefully replying.  I would love to go to spain and the greek islands, but like you said, theres not enough coin, our wedding is costing a fortune, then the honeymoon to europe on contiki, and 2 weeks in croatia on the beach, we wont have a cent to our name by the time we arrive back in perth on the 24/6.  How much did the soccer tickets set you back?

soccer tickets were around 100 aussie dollars. not alot at all considering the game. think its good price.. jus the food. accomodation and the marketing souvenirs will be expensive. im a bit of a shop freak so i can see myself buying souvenirs everywhere. ye so after spain we are heading back to greece and will spend few weeks on the islands there. me and my friends are all greek so that will be our final destination on our holiday. all in all we will be in europe about 8 weeks.

congrats on gettin married too

Thankyou, the wedding is 7 weeks away,  You bastards, your doing exactly what i wanted to do, spain and greece, im so jealous of you all, a 8 week holiday.  $100 per ticket is very reasonable, i thought you were going to tell me from atleast $150 to $200 for them.  Our holiday is for 5 weeks and we are spending about $20,000 between the two of us, so you guys will spend nearly $15,000 each with airfares, contiki and then soccer, spain and greece, but like you said, you might aswell do it properly, this is my 2nd contiki, and i still bloody managed to miss spain and greece, but ive been to croatia 5 times to see rellies as we are both croatian, so we sacrafised greece and spain so i could show zac where his grandparents come from and lazy around on the beach and actually relax for 15 days after contiki.  who knows i may end up back in europe one day, spain and greece are first on the hit list.  When do you guys leave aussie?

7 weeks. not long to go at allllllllllll!!!! got a big one planned? since you're european... all the cousins, 2nd cousins... etc etc. big family bash.

well so far without spending money like food and presents and stuff ... flights, contiki and acomo in greece comes to around 7 grand each. so you reckon ill spend the same amount on food, souvenirs. drinks ? ggeez i hope not. im worried about the cash to tell you the truth.

we leave australia on the 17th of june. what about you guys?

You guest it, every man and their dog are come, along with every cousin born, we have 203 guests invited, big, but not huge like the macedonians, their smallest is usually 300 people.  You will spend on average $100 per day of food and crap, so your gone for about 56 days @$100 is $5600 plus the $7000 so you are looking at $12,600 minimum, so you might have to cut the souvenirs spending down a bit.  You must be on a the tour that departs on the 19th June 2006, if you guys dont depart aussie till 17th June,  we as we are on the 19th May and we depart perth on the 17th May.
