I think this is the first post for this tour. Anyone else going? I'm 25 (will be 26 when I go) and from Boston, Massachusetts, USA.
I'm traveling alone so I would love to chat with anyone out there going on this trip too

Oh I'm so glad you responded. I was getting worried I would be the only one going on this trip. So are the 3 of you from San Fran? When are you supposed to arrive in London? We should try to meet up when we get there.

Rest assured, you're not the only one going We're all from the SF Bay Area, but the other two that are going are in grad school right now on the east coast, one in Baltimore, MD and one in Newark, NJ. We booked the 2 night Check Out London tour through Contiki also, so we'll be leaving here on the 22nd and arriving in London on the morning of the 23rd. When are you flying out? If you're arriving early also, you're welcome to come check out the sights with us. I'm excited about the trip also. I've been reading every travelogue i can find online.

I am from San Jose, CA. I went to UCSD with Annie. I just turned 24 and this trip is suppose to be my birthday present from my parents. hehe =]  I'm going to graduate school at UMDNJ in Newark, NJ (it's sooo ghetto here)  Are you from the boston area  and working or going to school there?  I'm soo excited for this trip that I am constantly getting distracted from my studies to look at things about Europe. So, is this going to be your first time to Europe? Have you travelled out of the US before?  I'll talk to you later.

I am from the Boston area...born and raised I'm also in grad school and I work full time. It's crazy, but I'm graduating in May and then to reward myself, I'm taking this trip! I've only been to Scotland and Canada, but not in like 10 years. So this trip is going to be overwhelming, but I can't wait.

I have been on tours to Australia/New Zealand (high school), China (college), and Japan (college). But all my trips had "grown-ups" and I didn't really stay out really late. So this will be my first trip with people all around the same age...well young adults anyways.  What kind of person are you when travelling? Like are you a shopper, sightseer, partier, and dunno what else? I'm the type that likes to see really famous things but not the lesser known stuff esp if it's like something I've seen before (cathedrals!...ugh only so many you can see before they all look the same =p).  I'll go out just b/c I didn't get really in my past trips but I don't want to have hangovers throughout my whole trip! I like to shop (or window shop) and I love to eat and try new foods. I can't wait for all the french cuisines and pastries and desserts in other countries..MMmmm.

I'm a little of everything....I haven't been many places, but when I visit friends around the country, I like to see things, shop a little and go out. I really would love to just get lost  in the cities to see the culture and just take everything in....
I have a feeling we're all going to need a vacation after this trip just to recoup!

Hey everyone! One of my best friends and I booked this trip in November. We are both so excited about this trip! We both just love the history that Europe has to offer. This will be her first time out of the country and my second. I went to Peru my junior year of high school. I am 20 and she will be 20 by the time we go.

We are leaving the U.S. on the 21 of May, so maybe we can meet up with some of you who are also arriving early. We are coming from Fort Collins, Colorado.

I hope to chat with anyone and everyone soon.

Hey everyone, I have a quick question for you guys. Do any of you speak a language that will be useful for this trip?
I've been trying to brush up on my French, but it's been a while since I've taken a french class.

I haven't taken any languages since high school. I'm going to try and brush up on my French too as it gets closer to leaving.

hey guys, I just checked the dates for our tour and contiki has removed our tour from their dates available area. Since it was a guaranteed departure, this means that our tour has been booked full. And to think we were scared that we'd be the only ones going.
