I just booked this tour a couple of days ago..This is my first contiki so I don't know what to expect. My name is Laura, I just turned 20 and this tour was my b-day present. I have been living in the USA for five years but I am originally from Colombia. Hope to hear back from any of you guys with any advice on what to pack. see you in MAY.

its great to hear from you.. this is my first tour also so im really looking forward to it.
on packing - i was just taking a mixture of warm & cool clothes - eg: singlets, shirts, jeans, shorts & some light jumpers.
with shoes though im sticking with my flats, joggers, etc

is anyone considering taking their laptop? Since we are going to be travelling in bus and there is a luggage limit i do not want to be carrying it around if there is going to be access to internet during the trip....any recommendations??

Hey Austgirl. I am also from Sydney and my friend is living in Melbourne. Getting very pumped to get there. This is my second contiki, i did one in the USA before. Great fun. The question about the laptop? I wouldnt bother. The tour leader is like having google with you anyway and there will be lots of opportunities to get on the internet at cafes etc. My friends just did a tour and the luggage restriction was enforced (one of them had to get rid of some stuff on the morning). My previous one wasn't full so they were a bit more relaxed about it. anyway looking forward to meeting you all!!!
