Anybody out there leaving London on 6th Jan 09 to 21st Jan 09 for European Encounters??

My best friend and I have booked for the european encounters contiki on the 6th jan 09 also. We both from sunny South african and are a bit scared of the cold, but really looking forward to the contiki. We both 21 and I finish varsity before I come over so really hoping that everyone else on the tour is amped to party with us.... Hoping to see snow falling for the first time, I think my odds are good in a European winter, ha ha.

Ah thats awesome, im just finishing varsity and my friends, Shaz, has got 1 more year. We very excited for the trip, my first time to europe, my boyfriend was ment to come with but i dunno if he can still come. Also over for quite long, arrive on the 5 dec and leave on the 28 jan so travelling in the UK first. Shaz arrives on like the 31st dec in the morning so we can party new years together in london...
we both from just outside of durban and only seen snow on the ground, so hoping to see some fall. Are you guys worried about the cold, cos I am, if it 15 degrees celcius I think im freezing to death, ha ha .
Any ways sure it will be awesome to party with you guys.

Yeh, it'll be pretty freezing! I've had to buy a whole new wardrobe of really warm clothes for the trip - everything's really expensive and not very fashionable! But atleast we can buy anything extra we need for the cold weather while we're over there, the europeans are used to the cold : )

My name is Kendyl and Im from South Africa...
Dont stress Im going to be in the UK from the 5 Dec and travelling alone most of the time, so we all nervous. Never been to the UK or on contiki so very excited. My bestfriend shareen is coming with she arrives on the 31st dec (in time for new years!) so we will be around if you want to meet up before or anything!
Any ways dont stress the fantastic thing is that most people in the UK speaks english and in europe we will be in a group so no reason to be nervous.

I'm Nicci and I'm travelling in Europe for 3 months with by boyfriend Raph, and we're both from Melbourne.
