Yes its new to me to, I'm really excited and nervous at the same time. I'm travelling alone, so am really looking forward to meeting people. Where are you and your friends from?
Ok, thats pretty cool! We are from Ohio. And you are from...? Are you doing anything extra before or after the Contiki tour? I'm pretty pumped about the trip! I don't think you'll have too much to be nervous about judging from what other people have said.
I'm from Ontario. I booked 2 extra nights in London after the tour, so I will have a day and half to explore London before I have to catch my flight. I know I shouldn't be nervous, just about every comment a read about these tours is great. Are you doing anything after the tour?
Yes, we are actually doing some sightseeing on our own before and after the tour. We're gonna have a couple of days in London before the tour, and then we're staying in Paris(which should be interesting) a couple of days after before taking the train to London to catch our flight home. What made you decide to go to europe? Just feeling adventurous?
Very nice, i would have liked to do that, but i was only able to get 3 weeks off work. I've been to London and Edinburgh before, and have always wanted to see the rest of Europe. Hard to explain i guess, there is just so much history behind all those countries. How about you?
It seems like we are the only ones going on this tour. Other then that 1 other post, have you talked to anyone else that is going?
Yes, i understand that! the reason we decided to go is quite random i guess. I saw an Imax film of the Swiss Alps and decided from then on that i wanted to tour all of Europe. I mentioned it to my two friends and they got excited about it to so we said, why not?
No, i don't know of anyone else going either. I don't know much about these tours, but i'm assuming there WILL be other people. I hope. I guess if its a small group, we'll learn to know each other that much better!
I should hope there will be more people then just the 4 of us, haha. Although i'm sure we would get around alot quicker. It would be nice to find out how many people are booked on the same trip though.
So are you a student? Or are you working somewhere? I just graduated from college last spring and am working as a front desk agent. Lots of time to kill right now during the slower season.
Yes, i am curious about our tour group too! From what I've read, it seems like there are usually 15 or 20 people at least but i guess you just never no.
No, I'm not a student. I work full-time at home right now in a countertop shop. But i AM looking for another job right now, so I was kinda hoping to be between jobs by the time the trip rolls around. So your a front desk agent for what kind or company?
I work at a Best Western, called the Couchiching Inn. It's pretty entertaining at times with the strange people you can get checking in, and at times incredibly annoying with people who are just plain stupid. Tonight I had a guy come in who is a private investigator. The guy must think he is Sherlock Holmes or something... or at least love the mustache and hair cut!
Oh, that WOULD be interesting. Thats something that i'm looking forward to on our tour; the idea of meeting so many different people from all different parts of the world sounds PRETTY sweet! So do you live in the big city or in the country? I don't know much about Canada i'm afraid.
