The may tours seem to be booking out early, tried to get on may 5th but
ended up booking on 3rd May with 2 of my mates, no idea how many other
people going then. Im gonna start a post to find out.

Hi Everyone,



I am looking to do this tour in June (with my friend) or in May by myself! I have never travelled on my own OR been to Europe so it's a double whammy experience for me. I was looking at May 5th as well but it's booked? I will be checking a few more dates in May and June. I am graduating from a post-degree program in June and want to reward myself before I start working! I am from Ontario, Canada and look forward to meeting people from all over. Maybe some of you? Just waiting to see what happens and will continue to check these posts.

I had a look at the contiki brochure and none of the tours in april
were guaranteed but now they are according to this website, I have
heard that as the tour gets half booked they guarantee that it will
run. They dont tell you until 45 days out if it is cancelled either
which makes things hard to plan aye! Well if the 3rd gets cancelled I
will have to go on the 7th as my flights are already booked.

Hi Ro-man, I wouldn't worry too much about it being cancelled cause there's still time for people to sign up :-).  I just booked the May 22nd flight which isn't gauranteed but I have my fingers crossed that it'll be filled up.  If mine does get cancelled I'm guessing that they'll refund my flight cost as well since I booked it through Contiki or get me on an Alt tour...and worse case,  I'll still fly across the waters to London and maybe try to wing it from there :-D.  Lol, Contiki's itineraries are a great starting point!

After reading more posts Ive chilled out as most people on tour dont
know about the website or they just cant be bothered meeting up with
people before tour so hopefully the tour will go ahead. If not Ill go
on the 30th april tour as its guaranteed.

When are you arriving in London? We are getting there on the 1st of May
and staying at the Royal National for two days before tour and two days
after the tour. From what I can gather the majority of the tours are
people travelling alone! Best way to meet people I guess(and you dont
have to worry about your friends annoying you haha) Only two weeks to
go now! Will prolly see you at the meeting the night before.
