Hi all.... I am doing the London-Rome tour in April '07. We all have to meet at Contiki in London early in the morning and I was going to stay at the Contiki Hotel but it is going to cost me $75 AUS. Just wondering if anyone knew of any cheaper accommodation close to the Contiki hotel, which I can stay in the night before my tour starts. Would prefer some way within walking distance to the COntiki place. thanks....

Yeah, there is a hostel close by if you want something cheaper. That's where I'm staying when I start my tour in March. It's the Generator Hostel and it's well within walking distance. the website for it is www.generatorhostels.com/london. It'll tell you everything you need to know. and if you don'e want co-ed rooms then they have female only as well.
