I am going on the tour before yours!! Its the Aussie Explorer Sydney to Darwin one beginning the 8th october 2006.! I havent found any1 whos going on my tour yet! gutted! Im 18 female Scotland.Just booked my flights yesterday! Im arriving a few days before my tour starts.what about yourself ? cant w8!

I can't belive it we just miss each other, I haven't found anyone going on my tour yet. I booked my tickets a couple of weeks ago im 20 female, I live in Southampton England. I arrive in Sydney on the 8th oct as im doing the Sydney Scene first then the aussie explorer and finish off with reefs and rainforest back to Sydney!!! Im in OZ 2 months in total its gonna be the best time ever im so excited!!!!!! Are you staying any extra time after your tour?

Hi Toni, i did the Aussie Explorer in 2004 from October to November and i can tell you it was flippin hot and humid in the NT, you don't have time to sweat, it evaporates as it leaves you. All in all i had a blast, it was one of the best tours i have been on in many years (i have done 7 Contiki's so far from OZ to NZ to Canada and America) in the Nt i had 11 hours sleep in 10 days, one because of the heat and also cos we were up til 4 am drinking and chatting. By the way, the pool at the Kakadu resort closes at 10pm, don't be tempted to have a "after hours" dip, a certain girl and i did and although the water was fine, she thought she saw something long and black fall into the pool and i'll tell you....my feet did not touch the bottom of that pool, i was out sooooo fast. She thought it might have been a SNAKE. Never found one, didn't hang around to find out.
