I am also doing this tour!! I just got my docs today and am super pumped! Are you in Aus yet? I've been living in Sydney for 6 months so am totally ready to travel now!

Haven't got my docs yet but they said they come through a couple of weeks before i go.

Super pumped too! Not in Oz yet, I live in London and this is my first time travelling, can't wait! I'm arriving in Oz 3 weeks before the tour starts to meet my boyfriend who is out there travelling atm but isnt on this tour with me, then i'm doing the Grand Adventurer in New Zealand after we finish in Darwin!

Are you doing this tour alone? I'm staying in the hotel in Sydeny that the tour starts from the night before, hopefully see you there!

Ya I am doing the tour alone as well - maybe we will be in the same room ha ha.

I will just be meeting the group on the Sunday morning - I live pretty close to that hotel - a walk away. If you are in early enough we could always hook up on the Saturday - although I expect I will be partying a bit with my friends here as will be my last night!! I think I will have mixed feelings when I start the tour - super excited but sad as I've made some connections in Sydney you know?

How long has your BF been here? I was seeing an english guy from Plymouth and teh plan was for him to do the tour with me but long distance crap broke us up so that's why I'm doing it alone!

Yeah sounds good, let me know if you are about Saturday night, but otherwise will see you on Sunday morningg when the tour starts.

Mark's been travelling in Peru, New Zealand and Fiji for the past 3 months. He got to Australia at the start of May and is currently in Cairns. He's planning to travel down the East Coast and meet me in Brisbane 3 weeks before my tour starts. Then he's off to Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam once I start my tour. That's really freaky, Mark is origionally from Plymouth, what are the odds!

Arh that's a shame about your BF, I have to admit the long distance is crap, been finding it pretty difficult. That's the main reason why i booked this tour, I was sick of sitting a home pining for him and wanted to do my own thing!

What are you doing once you finish this tour? I'm doing a Contiki New Zealand tour straight away, I'm going to be exhauseted!!

I am also going on this tour. Flying in from the US and will be there early Sat am. I have been waiting for this trip for forever! I can't wait to get there. I am also going it alone, so you guys aren't the only ones . two weeks and counting...

hey!! That is sweet - sorry I didn't answer earlier - I haven't logged in forever! After the tour my PLAN is to stay in Cairns area for a couple months but not sure - am starting to freak out about leaving my 'lil sydney life!!
