Weather has been hot! I kind of miss the snow, as I ski every weekend during the winter, but can't complain with hiking. Munich was a great time when I was there last, though it's been about 7 years. Being away this winter, I'll miss ski season, but I think it's worth it! What's going on in Munich during the summer?

we have 850-years celebration... every weekend other parties..

we enjoy the hot weather... ;-) go to swimming and so things.. somthing that is not so hard to do...

So what do you guys do? I work in a nursery with children, it's exhausting so i'm looking forward to the well earned break!

Definitely worth missing one ski season. I'm in sales right now, like any job it has its moments. My countdown is on until my New Zealand tour starts in early December...can't wait to leave my job, can't wait to do some traveling! How long until you leave for India/Asia? I may hit up Asia afterwards, you'll have to give me some recommendations.

I'll be in NZ for about 3 1/2 weeks before spending the holidays w/a friend near Brisbane. I will be leaving the U.S. in early December. Hopefully there are a few more of us on this tour by now. Anyone out there?!?!

I leave for India in 4 weeks! I'll be there for about 5 weeks then move on to Asia! I'm excited but nervous too at the moment, but by the time i meet up with you guys i'll be an experienced traveller! Ha! I'm sure i'll have loads to tell you Jon! I'm going on my own but doing some tours of these countries as well so i'm sure it'll be fine and i'll meet lots of people! You'll have to tell me all about New Zealand too as i'll be heading that way after our tour! Hope the countdown goes as quickly for you guys as it is for me!

Hey guys! I'm so stoked I found this thread, I think that I'm doing this tour as well. But i'm doing the sailing Whitsundays option. I cannot wait! I traveled Europe with Contiki this summer and had SUCH an amazing time. I'm probably going to be visiting some friends in Perth and then spending some extra time in Sydney before the tour.

I'm reserved for this trip, just ironing out a few details before I pay. I am also doing it with the sailing option good to hear your are too!

Anyways, I'm Matt from Toronto I will be flying out to Vancouver then off to Darwin a day or 2 early. Then I am going to Whistler for 12 days when I get back before heading home to Toronto!
