I'm planning on doing the Aussie explorer reverse starting on the 31st of December! Is anyone else planning on doing this one? I'm also planning on doing the Whitsundays sailing trip. Would be lovely to chat before we actually meet!

Alex, I am registered for this trip, my fingers are crossed that there are enough people. Not doing the sailing portion, but can't wait to see the country. Are you still planning on going?

Hey! Yes i am still going, my trip has just been paid for so it's all official!
If there aren't enough people does that mean that the tour won't run?
Where abouts are you from and where else are you travelling too?

Glad to hear I'm not alone on this one! My understanding is that the tour won't run if there aren't enough people, I think the minimum is either 20 or 25. Hoping that won't be an issue, otherwise I'll be bumming around Aussie for a while...could be worse. Not sure about my complete travel plans (don't have a flight yet) though I'll be in NZ prior to this tour. Currently living in Denver. You? Any other travel plans?

Wow i didn't realise that! I'm going to have been travelling for just over 3 months around India and Asia by the time i begin this tour. I'm looking forward to it but i'm travelling alone so it would be good to know someone along the way! I'm going to NZ after this tour which i'm really looking forward too. I'm from and living in the UK! Are you planning on doing any other tours or just backpacking?

I'm going on the Grand Explorer in NZ first (reverse), starting in early December. I'm meeting a friend of mine for that one but I'll be going on the Aussie Explorer by myself and I'm hoping to do some traveling after this one is done, though not sure on exactly where yet. Possibly into SE Asia, but who knows. I did a Contiki tour in Europe years ago and it was great, I expect nothing less from this one! I too am looking forward to meeting a bunch of people along the way. When are you getting into Darwin?

I get in to Darwin at about 4 in the morning on the 31st so i'm going to be pretty tired! I'll be flying from Singapore so hopefully i can catch a few hours sleep on the plane! It's good to know that you've travelled with them before and thought they were good, i've not really done any travelling before so it's very reassuring!

When are you arriving in Darwin? Doing any traveling before or after? I'll be getting into Darwin late night on Dec. 28th.

I plan on staying in Sydney for a couple of days after the tour, and I will eventually head north to the Brisbane area to meet up with a friend of mine. I really have no concrete plans at the moment, going to see where things take me. I can't wait.

I am arriving in Darwin on the 31st of December at 5.30am! So i'll be pretty tired probably! I am also staying in Sydney for a while when the tour finishes as i have a friend coming to meet me which will be good! I'm so looking forward to it and it's cool talking to people who will be there too. So what are your names?
