Hello All!! I am doing the Aussie Explorer in reverse from Darwin starting Jan. 30, 2008. I am travelling solo and I am very excited!! I can't wait! Anyone else on the same tour??

I was thinking about it! Have yet to book, i'm going to wait a few weeks until i get to Sydney. Where are you from?

Hey Matt. Great to hear from someone on the same tour. Where you travelling from?? I am coming right into Darwin from Canada on Jan. 29 and starting the tour right away. I am spending some time in Sydney after the tour as well. The Sydney New Year sounds awesome. Hope you have fun. See you on the tour !!

Im from England, im gona be doing a bit of traveling round the east coast before the tour then im flying into Darwin two days before and i have booked into the same hostel we stay in for the first night of the tour. I'm also gona stay in sydney a while after the tour and then go back up the east coast or go south, depends what happens.

Hey! Doing the reverse from Darwin to Sydney too! Flying in to Sydney on Jan.23rd from Canada...hang out in sydney for a few days, then up to Darwin. Hoping to travel to Melbourne after the tour ends, if anyone is game?

I leave for sydney in about a month. So i'll be there about 2 months prior to the tour, and i'll be staying there a month following the tour.

Hi Taryn great to hear from a few more people who are going on the tour. Yeah i would be up for travelling down to Melbourne after the tour and seeing a bit of the south coast.

(YIKES!) hitting up darwin around the 26th...what hostel is everyone staying in? the same as the tour?

Hi Taryn. I am not getting into Darwin until about 10:30PM the night before the tour starts. That's cutting it pretty close and I believe I am staying in the same hostel as the tour. I am staying in Sydney for about 5 days after the tour. Hopefully some others are game to explore the city. Can't wait to meet everyone!! See you all then!

HI Everyone. I am Emily. Am travelling on my own too from England. Fly straight into Darwin for Singapore around the 26/27 Jan. Am planning melbourne after tour I think. Am just going to see what happens!!!Excited to meet everyone.
