I booked a room here for a week. Seems to be in a pretty good location, downtown. From what I hear the Contiki hotel is outside of the city. My agent got me a pretty good deal. I think because I'm staying for a full week and not just for the busy nights of New Years Eve. I know she said for the same place just over the holiday it would end up being like $400 a night or something crazy. Check it out.

I booked very late, but it's nice to hear that there will be so many on this tour .
My semester in Australia is nearly finished and I look forward to travel afterwards.

Where will you stay after this trip? Did you book a hostel or hotel in Sydney?

I will be in Sydney over New Year's Eve too, but want to do some travel in and around Sydeny between the tour ending and New Year's Eve.
