My name is Heather. I never figured out how to change my name, but there we go. I'm two weeks away from leaving for Australia and starting to pack a bit, but still feel totally unprepared!

im originally from Cumbria but ive been living in Liverpool for the last 4 years!

According to draft itinerary my flight time is British Airways 10pm.... It goes via Bangkok, arrives in Sydney 7.05am on Mon 6 October and then fly with Qantas approx 10.50am, arriving in Darwin at 2pm.

I''m originally from Newport, South Wales. But been living and working in Taunton for last four years

hey, im going via singapore but then flying straight into Darwin and arrive there at 5.30am on the 6th!
are you staying in the hotel we leave from? cos if so i will meet you there. do you have any plans for after the trip?

Yeah I am booked into the Quality Frontier at Darwin.

After the trip I am planning on staying at Travelodge Hotel to do Sydney Scene (4 days) and then will look to find some where else to stay in Sydney, as I fly back to UK on 6 November.

Do you have any plans after trip?

oh yeah lets meet in the airport, if we are in the same terminal.

i am also stayin in that travelodge too, ive booked 3 nights, but ive got 2 more nights after that in sydney before i fly to Perth for a few days before flying back to the uk.

im so excited now!

I am also on this tour and I'm already in Australia. Let me just say, so far it's amazing so I'm really excited for the tour so I can see a bit more of the country! I haven't booked getting to Darwin yet but I'll probably aim to arrive on the 6th and book into that hotel.

Saw this thread and although I am booked to do the Beaches and Reef tour (Reverse) for these dates, I think it joins up with your tour from the 18th Oct onwards. Am travelling alone so would be nice to know a few people before I go on the tour.

I just got signed up for the Aussie Explorer (Reverse) leaving Darwin on Oct. 8. Looking forward to it. I think I arrive sometime on the 7th. I'm from the US. This will be my 4th Contiki tour. Travelling solo.

Great... nice to see some more people are signing up for the tour!! I was trying to work out which other tours the Aussie Explorer may be joining up with.
