Hi Everyone

My name is Richard and I am 21 years old (22 when I leave) from a small island of Guernsey in the Channel Islands in the UK.
I was wandering if anyone else is going on the Aussie Explorer tour from the 8th Nov to the 1st Dec 2006 starting in Darwin.
As i would quite like to meet some people before I go if I can.

I also booked this tour! I already opened a thread some weeks ago! Just look! My name is Verena (27) and I�m From Germany. I�ll go there with my friend Maren.
We are in Darwin at November the 6th! Are you also there some days before starting? May be we can meet before and have a beer in Darwin!!

That's cool, I will be going in to darwin on the 7th but not till quite late though 10.30pm but should be still able to meet for a drink or two just before. Anyway it would be nice to meet someone as I have decided to go by myself.

I think, it won�t be a problem to get into contact on tour! I guess there are a lot of people, that are alone on tour. And nearly everybody is interested to make new international friends. I hope I can improve my english.. ;-)

May be we can meet in Darwin, at least when the tour starts. And then we have time enough (23 days) to drink some Fosters! ;-))

Did you also book the sailing tour in the Whitsundays? That will be great fun I think!
And do you stay some days in Sydney after the tour?
Our flight back to Frankfurt (Germany) is booked for December the 6th...

It should quite easy to get into contact and depending what time mine plaine lands etc still might be able to meet up before the tour starts (I will see how it goes) otherwise we can meet at the start of the tour.

My brother went on a similar trip and he said it was good and met loads of new people quite a long time a ago now. but he said it was one of the best holidays he went on.

I didn't book the sailing tour as I hadn't heard about when  I made my bookings. I might decide when I get there if I can.
I'm staying until Saturday 2nd evening

You will be on the Aussie explorer tour straight after me cos im doing the 8th oct - 5th nov tour! Are you starting in Sydney or Darwin? Im finishing in Darwin.Not met any1 from the UK going on my tour yet well infact only met one other person going on my tour..... lol Where in UK u from.Im from Scotland.

Sounds good, I've only met one other person as well so far but I reckon it shouldn't be too hard to make friends etc as most people won't know each other anyway. 
I'm starting in Darwin and arriving on 7th in the evening so should be just beginning my tour when you finish yours.

Hat jmd. aus Deutschland noch Lust diese Reise (Aussie Explorer vom 08.11.06 bis 01.12.06) mitzumachen? Meine Freundin ist verhindert. Flug geht ab 04.11.06 von Frankfurt nach Darwin. R�ckflug am 06.12.06 Sydney - Frankfurt.
Wir haben vor dem Rundreisebeginn 2 N�chte DZ in Darwin gebucht. Nach der Reise bin ich 1 Woche in der N�he von Sydney bei Verwandten...(evtl. kannst du auch dort bleiben...)
Hat jmd. (weiblich zwischen 18 und 35) Lust statt meiner Freundin mitzufliegen?

That would be quite good though I'm only arriving a day before hand but I am staying in the frontier hotel for that night so would be quite good to go there for a drink when I land.
