I'm from Canada and my 7 friends and I did the May 10th Panorama...we just got home last week, and we had sooo much fun! I miss it already, and I want to go back! We made so many new friends, and our tour guide and driver were amazing! If anyone has any questions, feel free to post them here!

Every city was so different - there's no way I could pick a favourite! My group and I flew to London a couple days early and did it on our own - Contiki doesn't do anything in London, so this might be a good idea! I wish I hadn't brought so many pairs of jeans - it was too hot to wear them, although you might need them in September (definitely at the top of Mt. Pilatus - there was snow at the top in June!). I probably should have tried some of the water sports when we were in Greece, but those can be done elsewhere. I did the white water rafting in Austria, which was awesome. Some of my friends did the paragliding (running off the edge of a cliff), and said it was amazing. I'm a chicken, but part of me wishes I had done it! I did most of the optional excursions, and they were tons of fun - especially when the whole group goes!

Hahaha don't worry, it wasn't too cold - although for some of the Aussies, it was the first time they had ever seen snow! You'll be fine with pants (I wore capris), a t-shirt, and a sweatjacket...you can't bring much clothing up to the top anyways - your luggage stays at the bottom of the mountain, and all you bring up for the two nights is an overnight bag!

Hmmm I suspect your definition of cold would vary greatly from mine. Smiler Doesn't it get ridiculously cold in Toronto?

Also, if any of your group have travelogues about the tour we would love you to put them up!

haha yes, it does get very cold in Toronto, but at the top of the mountain i'd say it was probably 10-15 Celcius, so it's cool but not freezing cold!
We were so good about keeping a journal when we started the trip, but it got hard (and we got lazy), so I don't think anyone has a complete one...however, my friends and I have posted tons of pictures on Facebook, so if you'd like to see them, send me a private message and i'll give you my name and email address Smiler
