I'm not sure if it is ever too hot in Europe but I guess that due to being used to Aussie weather lol. But August should be great. Enjoy!

Hello, I have just returned home from this tour. My tour was 1st Sept - 28th Sept and the weather was great. It got really hot heading from Bordeaux to Barcelona, and stayed quite warm until we left Corfu. Venice was still warmish, just not as warm as it had been. Austria, Switzerland and Germany were coolish but Amsterdam was warm again. I thought it was ideal weather and am glad that I did a september tour. This tour is fantastic and just to let you know when we were in Rome (so mid September) it was 38 degrees. Rome is very busy time - August would be even hotter and you have to factor in how much the heat will interfere with your sightseeing.... If you wanted to ask any questions you can email me tarjahf@hotmail.com I know I would have liked to hear from someone that had done the tour before I left!

Hey all! I did this tour in July and August of this year! didn't find it crazy hot other than the places Tarjah spoke of, Spain was pretty hot, corfu was kinda nice, always had the cool breeze off the water, Venice though, was the hottest stop on tour! its was intense that day. Overall it was an amazing trip and great time to go, we had rain maybe twice the whole tour! I'm in the process of writing up a review/travellog type thing, ill be sure to post it when i am done!
