I am an Aussie and going on the Territory and Outback reverse on the 25th of March - I thought the same thimg - was a great way to travel around Europe why not in my own country!

I know a couple of people doing Aussie tours who are Aussie. I'm considering it myself as it's a great way to see your own country but I'm a bit unsure....might feel a bit silly if I'm the only Aussie??
hey, i am aussie and im doing the coast to whitsundays on the 18th Jan - 28th Jan 2009 not sure how many aussies are on my trip but im sure ill have fun either way. I haven't travelled before thought it would be a good experience to go in my own country to start with. Melissa
I'm an Aussie and i done sydney to cairns and had the best fun seeing the east coast of Australia... If you just done the road trip with a few mates it wouldn't be any where near as good as being on a bus with 50 people all the same age wanting to party...... HIGHLY RECOMEND
I'd definitely consider it. You can speak the language, the dollar is great and you're bound to make a stash of friends from around the world! That's what travelling is all about for me so I'd be all for it!
I'm Aussie, and I'm doing Aussie Explorer in November. Dosmetic airfares are dirt-cheap, and I don't have to mess around with foreign cash. Plus I figure, if I go to Europe or America, I'll just wind up surrounded by more Aussies. This way, the foreigners come to me, haha!
Because I sadly have time on my hands, I did a count of countries on my 2 tours USA - 9 GERMANY - 12 UK - 10 CANADA - 10 SWITZERLAND - 3 BRAZIL - 1 SOUTH AFRICA - 1 AUSTRALIA - 7 IRELAND - 6

most aussies will do the nt and outback- as they normal wouldnt go up there. living on the coast as many do it is easy for them to just travel and take vacations there as they please.
reverse Aussie Explorer July 2009!
