Not sure if we're on the same tour - I leave America on 9/1, so technically my tour starts on 9/2 but only goes through 9/11, then it's back to the States.

I think you're right. No idea why I didn't pick that one. I guess I like to depart on a Friday and come back on a Monday. Two 4-day work weeks.

I am going on the Euro Magic Sept 2 thru 12 with my boyfriend Tom!!! I am so excited!!!!!! I did the Euro Vista last year for my college graduation and now we are doing the Magic for his graduation. Are you staying over in London before or after your tour?

PBI, I'll be in London after my tour due to a brain fart I had while booking my air travel.  If anyone wants to do Afternoon Tea at The Ritz on the evening of September 11th, I'm making reservations soon.

Good to see you on the board again. Pretty funny that we both toured in May/June 2005 and now are touring again with Contiki in September 2006! The same tour this time too - only one day apart. Great minds . . .
Tea at the Ritz sounds fab,  but unfortunately I will still be in Paris on the 11th.

OK apparently I am in as well! Contiki cancelled my dates. lol

Soooo I'll be seeing you guys. My travel agent did tell me that since they consolidated the tours after they cancelled the 9/1 date, they are going to have two coaches, so I wonder if both coaches will form one big group or if we'll be like strangers passing in the night, waving at the other Contiki bus from across the street.

Now, I just have to wait for British Airways to call me back to determine if I'm screwed or not. I had non-refundable tickets for the other dates! Anyway, my friend Jojo (and possibly another friend or two) will be joining me. I can't wait!

Hmmm, that seems a little odd that they would cancel your tour if they have enough people for 2 coaches on 9/2. Oh well, the more the merrier! I will ask about that whole strangers passing in the night thing. I am interested to see how this will work out also.

I will be on the european magic trip from the 2nd-12th. I am traveling a lone on my first contiki trip and I can't wait!!!! I am flying out of the US on friday the 1st and spending one extra day in London. Anyone else doing that? Can't wait to meet all of you :-)

Hi Amy, Well, I may be doing that inadvertently. We'll see if BA sorts out my flights. Otherwise, since my 9/1 tour was cancelled, I may be arriving a day too early!

I just received my flight info last night and I am flying out friday the 1st @ 8pm and arriving in London on the 2nd at 8am. Anyone else arriving on the 2nd and want to meet up?

Amy, that is great that you get two whole days in London! Are you spending any time in London after the tour as well? You must be on the east coast to have such a short flight time!
We leave from San Francisco on Saturday 9/2 at 8AM with a short lay-over in Chicago and we won't arrive in London until Sunday 9/3 at around 7AM so we will only get one whole day in London (except for the pre-tour meeting but that doesn't take very long). Then we are flying back home from London on Wednesday 9/13 around noon so won't have much time to sight-see on Wednesday but it will fun to party Tuesday night

Mia, how are your flight arrangements going? Has BA been able to sort it out for you? I hope so!

No news yet I think BA threw my reservation down a rabbit hole. Too busy to call today and tomorrow I'm traveling for work all day. I will be on the phone on Wednesday!

I will get there one way or the other (but I prefer that way to be "cheaper")!

I am really looking forward to this trip but a bit nervous since I am traveling a lone and so far no one seems to be arriving in London early to sightsee with me. I have never been to London before but I want to see as much as I can.
Do you guys know when we are supposed to meet the tour group? I assumed it was the morning of the 3rd and we left london that day. I don't know though since this is my first contiki trip.
Looking forward to meeting you guys, sight seeing and partying!! Hope there are some cute boys on the trip ;-)
