It's so great to talk to someone going on the trip. We are both from States just outside of Washington DC. My friend, Jenni, lives in Florida now. I visited Scotland about four years ago, it was great. You all are going to have so much fun. Are you planning on getting to London a few days before the tour starts/staying in London a few days after the tour start? I can't decide.

Hey Steph, wicked we are staying on contiki london thing the two nights before our tour so yeah definitely do it....then we spend another night in london after tour then undecided to easyjet or virgin train to edinburgh....yeah yeah!! i know so cant wait 3 months of work left for me and then we fly out from NZ on May 29th...crazy!! It's going to fly by. Since the trip is a guaranteed departure I assume it will be pretty full. I wonder if we'll hear from anyone else?!

My girlfriend and I are going on this trip too, we are from Los Angeles, California. We haven't heard too much about this trip. We are really looking forward to our trip itineraries because it some of the travelogues it looks like the hotels are really far away from the cities. We have been to Ireland England and Scotland many times, but this is our first trip on Europe's mainland.

Yay more people! There really isn't a lot of info. on this trip. Most of the travelogues I've read are informative, but minimal. I'm really excited about the intenerary also. It will be a lot of fun seeing the cities and the stops in between. When do you all arrive in London? I don't have a flight yet, but right now I'm thinking I will leave the States on the 30th.

Hey Steph, where in the DC Metro area are you exactly? I live in Falls Church, VA. I'm going on the tour in Sept/Oct. You will have to let me know how it is and what to expect and all that good stuff.

Hey we are leaving the states on May 26, spending a day in Ireland to drop bags off at my aunt's house. Then we're heading to London to spend a few days with my family, then heading to the Royal National Hotel, I'm guessing? I hope we get our itinerary more than 3 weeks ahead of time. I am dying to know all the hotels, etc. that we are staying at. haha. I know its a guaranteed departure but it doesn't seem like too many people going on this trip are on the msg boards.

Hey Christina and AJ. we are staying the two nights before in London at the Royal National/Imperial beforehand and another night when we get back as well!! Thats great! I agree the msg boards arent going off on our guaranteed departure..thats why we chose this date!! Maybe a little closer to the date...although we are less than 3 months to go now....

I'm live in Fairfax. Should be a good time, but I will let you know what I think when I get back.
I know when we arrive in London we are staying at the Imperial, at least that is what is says on my e-mail confirmation. That is all of the info. I have right now. I'm a little suprised not to hear from more people as well. I feel like our trip is right around the corner, but the time can't go by fast enough!

i think i'm joining this tour. just found out today my eastern road tour was cancelled and this is the only other interesting option around the same time. still sounds cool, though!

doing the spanish spree tour before this. flying to berlin for a night afterwards. then over to london. after this tour, i get to fly to warsaw and stay for a night or two and then back home, to seattle!

I answered this in a previous post. I am from New York. Flying in from JFK on May 30th. I can't wait! I've been to Italy many times but always with my family. This is the first time alone in Europe. Well not actually alone. My friend Kate is coming too. We are both Long Island girls. Anyone else from the states? I'm excited to meet new people!
