I'm planning to do a Contiki tour mid next year. Im thinking of doing a concept one but I've also looked at the timeout tours as well as i will be in Europe for 2 extra months post of the tour in Portugal visiting family and friends.

This timeout tour seems pretty good and around my budget. Ill be traveling alone so i just wanted to find out if anyone was interested in doing this tour as well???

Doing the timeout tours will just help me not drag around a sleeping bag and excess baggage i don't need.

If you interested in doing this it will be great to hear your thoughts and plans ...

Hey there Catarina,

I'm planning on going on a Contiki tour around July 2009 with my boyfriend and probably 2 single friends. I'm looking into the Road to Athens tour and then doing the Greek Island hopping. After reading many many reviews I think I would prefer the timeout tour (I would prefer sleeping in a hotel then hostel, as well and not having to worry about my sleeping bag).

I've also read it's a good idea to say in London before your tour kick starts which sounds like a wicked idea.

If anyone out there has any tips for my plans next year please do tell. I'm going to be a nervous but bloody excited traveler as I've never been out of Australia.

Hi all,

My partner and I are doing this one in May next year (leaves May 8). Would love to get in contact with other people doing it at that time. We are both super excited as we haven't done much travelling an this tour travels to some awesome spots. I will be having my birthday while we are in Bavaria - too good!
We are also hoping to travel to Spain from London after the tour. If anyone has suggestions of how to do this on a budget it would be greatly appreciated!
