so have you maybe got the 15 from when you depart your home country because thats how mine has worked i depart australia on the 15 for the euro magic 17 till the 25.

I will be departing from NYC on Friday evening, September 15th. I am scheduled to arrive in London on Saturday morning, September 16th and scheduled to depart from Paris on Monday morning, September 25th. Is this the trip you are booking Megan?



My friends are saying I am going to go flip out when I am in Germany, especially during Oktoberfest. (Both of my parents are of German descent.) I'm really looking forward to this trip and meeting the group!

yeah you are doin the same tour as me i depart Brisbane australia on friday arrive in london saturday and then the tour on sunday.

yes i have had it booked for months i had met someone else on the site a couple of months ago she is from melbourne australia.

wow how exciting yeah i just cant wait for the whole thing really nothin in particular i just think the whole thing is goin to be a blast.

Believe it or not, this is my first trip overseas and I really haven't had a vacation since I started working (when I was 15; I'm 32 now!) I couldn't afford to take trips and I was always happy spending time with family and friends during my vacation time. Last year, I moved to NYC and it was really stressful and crazy. I'm hoping to have a lot of fun and hopefully I won't be the oldest in the group! LOL!



Have you traveled with Contiki (or another group vacation) before? I'd love to hear all about it!

Well sounds like were all on the same trip should be fun. I'm hoping our group is cool. This is my first Europe trip so I'm siked!. I live in the ATL (Atlanta, Georgia USA) I arrive in London around 7:00 am on the 16th.

I hope our group is cool too... I'm leaving JFK in NYC at 8pm on the 15th and should arrive in London around 8am on the 16th. I am going to be jetlagged, hungover or both! Do we meet up with the group on the 16th?

well, i fly in on the 16th at 6am my friends that live in london are picking me up so that is goin to be real fun and yeah i will most certainly be jet lagged. i have some friends that have been over there and arrived early in the morning and said not to sleep when you get there because then all your sleeping time is all muddled, so by the end of that day im goin to be very tired, as we all are.

yeah my travel agent was saying that we will all meet each other before the tour on the 16 that way we know someone for the seventeenth.

I am just like you kristen i have not had a propper holiday in a good four years though and this is my first trip over seas and by myself.

i have only just turned twenty (well today actually) and i have only just got the traveling bug in the last 12 months none of my close friends want to travel  there either at uni and cant afford it or have kids. so i decided to brave it on my own. 

well would love to hear more about you guys, i'm real excited im now meeting others goin.

Well I am up for meeting with the group when we arrive... will we all be staying at the same hotel? I got a single room since I don't know anyone and I figured it was the best thing to do.



I bet I'm the "old maid" of the trip... haha! But my friends say I look (and act) much younger than I actually am. I really hope we have a good group of people and I'm glad to hear from you, magicalt2 and megan!

nope Kristen you will not be the old maid I have you beat in that department, but I'm a cool kid. I'm single and without kids just floating through life. I think we will be at the same hotel Imperial? I'm not worry about the age difference at all if their cool we can hang!

oh, i dont think im at the same hotel as you i'm triple sharing at the Royal National i wanted the cost as low as possiable more that i can spend overseas. lol.

i kinda ready i mean i have brought a book for the plane ride and most of my clothes i just have to get a few bits and pieces.
i have had my immunisations like month or so ago. what about you did you need anything needle wise i mean?

i have a friend that has just come back for doin the euro discoveru tour ( the one up from this) but yeah i have nt seen her yet but cant wait to hear from her i work with her so yeah thats why i have not seen her yet.

well gotta go im planning a lunch outing with my best friend his girlfriend and there baby boy till next time enjoy
