Who else is going on this trip? This would be the first time I go to Europe and the first time I go through Contiki I can't wait!!

My flight is on Septemebr 22 at 6:25 p.m. So I have no idea when I actually arrive (since there are time difference) and I don't know how long is the flight...But I was told that I will arrive some time on September 23rd. I am kinda worried about getting to hotel from airport. Did they give you any specific directions yet? I am still waiting for my package. I am counting days...so wanna go now!!!

I am leaving Sept 20th at 8pm and I arrive Sep 21st around 10am (which is like 5am for us). I haven't received my package yet; I think we are supposed to get it about 3 weeks before the trip.

At what airport are you arriving? If you arrive to the Heathrow I think you can just take the subway that takes u directly to Russel Square where the hotel is.

I can't wait!!! I hope more people replay to our messages becuase it makes me think that no one else is going at the time that we are lol.

I am sure that a lot of people are coming. They just probably don't know about this message board. Wow, you already know the airport name and hotel location. They did not tell me anything. I've been trying to contac Contiki for so long via phone and email, but they've been just ignoring my requests so far. I need to get the package from them like right now because I need to get 3 visas and this takes a lot of time. What clothes are you planning on taking? Is it going to be cold?

Well, I haven't received my package yet. When I booked they told me that we get it about 3 wks before the trip ( I guess we still need to wait one more week). I asked them the same day about the airport and everything so that I knew what was easier for me when arriving.

Why do you need 3 visas? Are you an American Citizen? I'm from Venezuela and I don't need any visas. Good luck with that

About the clothes, mmm I'm still trying to find out more about the weather. I think it's warm during the day and chilly at night (but i'm not really sure). I'll let you know as soon as I know something.

Okay, I finally found out my airports. I am flying from Los Angeles straight to Heathrow airport, landing at 12:25 p.m. on September 23, 2006. Flying back on Oct. 2 from Paris, Roissy-Charles de Gaulle Airport to Chicago first and then back to L.A. Do you have any connections or your flights are straight both ways? I was thinking we probably need to take gloves, boots, umbrella and sweaters. What do you think? I am Russian and not a citizen yet, so I need separate visas to UK, Switzerland, and the rest of the coutries. Yeah, I know it sucks for me! But I am still very exited! Are you planning on doing any of the optional excursions?

Isn't 12:25pm late? check with contiki about the time you are flying in just in case.

I don't think we need to take gloves and boots but sweaters or a light jacket definitely (especially in Switzerland).

I am arriving on Sep 21st in the morning and yes I'm going Miami-London. I'm staying the 2,3 and leaving the 4th from Paris and I'll fly Paris-London and then London-Paris. I'm meeting my best friend in Paris 'cause he lives in Belgium

I'd love to do some of the optional excursions but I need to know more about the options that we'll have.

If you know, could you please give me a name of the hotel we are staying at in London. Visa application is asking for it. Good news for me I only need 2 visas, not 3. Switzerland doesn't care. Yeah!

We will we staying at the Imperial London Hotel in Russel Square in London.

Yeah! I got all my docs from Contiki yesterday! Thank you for your info. I feel much better now. Looks like I'm going to make it! Yes, the weather is much colder there then Ca lifornia or Florida. We live in paradise! I am definitely taking gloves, scarfs and boots.

You got your booklet already? mmm I'm at work so I have no idea if I got it in the mail yet (I hope so )...yeah, i'm thinking about a scarf and a shawl but I'll be taking 2 pairs of tennis shoes, 1pair high heels, 2 pairs of flip-flops (one for showers and one in case i need it LOL)...
