Hey i haven't seen anyone post a discussion for people going june 24-july 3... so here i go! my name is michele and im going with my friend natalie. we are 20 yrs old and live in california and we're leaving on june 21 so we're getting there about a day early and we're staying at the royal national hotel in london (hope it's not as bad as the blogs say). we're looking to have FUN this summer so if you're going on this trip too, post a bit about yourself. see you soon!
Hey Michele, I'm also going on this same one. My name is mark, I'm 21 and also from California (818, gotta represent) I'm arriving on the morning of the 21st and gonna do some sight-seeing in london pre-contiki. Not sure where I'm staying yet, but lookin at the Piccadilly Backpackers hostel. What are your guys' plans after contiki? or going straight home afterwards? -Mark

yeah, ive heard that too. im definitely going to need sleep after, kinda worried about whats going to fuel me after the long nights... haha but it'll be worth it! im very excited!
I might be going on this trip! There's a similar trip organised by Topdeck and I could possibly be going with them...not sure yet. They've advertised some dates wrong on their website and brochure so it depends on them. But! I can tell you that you guys will love it, I did a Contiki (Eastern road) tour last summer and it was amazing. Just watch out guys, you'll be wanting to do it all over again and you'll have Contiki withdrawal symptoms afterwards-lol! I'm English myself and live near London so it's pretty easy for me to get there, plus I don't need a flight! I'm 20 years old and looks like there's a lot of us early twenties people going which sounds fun! I'm sure there'll be many wild and crazy nights to be had. You know what screw topdeck, I might just go with this tour as it's slightly longer and I love Contiki

yeah, you should go on this tour! if it's slightly longer it'll be worth it.. haha. and besides im going to need someone to give me advice on the food to eat in england (i love trying new foods) and where to go. besides i heard topdeck didn't have as sufficient housing? well i actually might be mistaken for the picasso tours. but you should come on this one anyways!
Hey, haha yeah I've totally decided to go with Contiki as I enjoyed it with them last time and it's longer! I'm booking it either tonight or tomorrow! I rang earlier though to enquire and they still have space left! So, where is everyone from then? Last year's Contiki trip (eastern road) that I went on I was the only English person and I loved it, lol. I loved mixing with all your Yanks and Aussies (and Kiwis! lol). Oh and what are people doing, triple or twin? Personally I'd recommend twin because I know that last year it was hectic in the morning getting ready real early when we all had hangovers, haha.
Any of you guys care to chat about the trip by email or something?

ya! my email is ramblenroll@earthlink.net. im reserved twin accomodations, for me and my friend. im used to having my own bathroom so sharing with one person may be difficult enough as sad as that sounds. oh and i have a question, what are kiwis? i know aussies are from australia but where are kiwis from?
Oh darn I was hoping to meet another person on the tour! Oh well, have fun on your tour! When I come back I'm going to post something about how it went so maybe you'll get a better feel for it.
